I have so many memories with Mario Kart! I started with Mario Kart 64 and it remains one of my top favorites in the series. Even though there are no extra characters to unlock and things of that nature. It was released at a time when Nintendo wasn't making their AI super impossible to beat in these courses, like they do in similar games now. I think my most satisfying accomplishment in any Mario Kart would have to be Double Dash in which I have completed and unlocked every cart and character in the game. Yes, that does mean I beat the mirrored all in one cup, not an easy task by any stretch of the imagination. For those that don't know, the all in one cup is all 16 tracks, always beginning with Luigi's Circuit and ending with Rainbow Road, but in the middle of that the courses can be in any order, and there is no stopping off point to save progress or anything like that. But then there is that mirrored, which can be a nightmare on some tracks. My ranking of these games from least favorite to most favorite: 7. Super 6. Super Circuit 5. Wii 4. DS 3. Double Dash 2. 7 1. 64 I haven't played 8 yet and I think I'm going to wait and play 8 Deluxe on the Nintendo Switch! Nor have I played the arcade Mario Kart games.
It's complete unless you count the two arcade games released by Namco. Apparently Nintendo doesn't or Mario Kart 7 would have been Mario Kart 9. Thanks for the comment! (Is your NES fixed?)

@yauy Yes, it is. Well, at least the guy said it was. He even demonstrated it at the store, and it worked perfectly. It might be my games, but I still have to wiggle it around a bit to get it to work. Not as much as I used to, though. :)
