The coolest thing about you, aside from your playing, is that you have a sense of humor.
I haven’t applied myself to learning your lessons as much as I should.
First thing tommorrow(or sometime next week), I am gonna stop Procrastinating and really buckle down on practicing.
      A future, better version
      Of myself will get it
      Done!😎😂

First track of Joe Pass’ virtuoso #2 Knew I recognized those chords!

I'm not super advanced. The chords in the real book are more simple than the variations you are using here. Can you explain your thoughts process behind why you chose the extensions you did? Were you just trying to keep the melody on top?
I'm especially interested in why you used an alt chord. I still don't understand alt chords very much and they sound weird to my ear because I'm not used to them.

You can use altered chords anytime the dominant 7th (V chord) resolves up a 4th or down a 5th (to the I chord). Here’s an older video I did where I talk in more detail about altered chords: ruclips.net/video/8pNe02f5z7A/видео.html

u kno purple haze by hendrix? thats an alt dominant, one of them at least. or thats how i learnt them, any b9 #9 #5/b6 on a mayor b7 is that thing. some folks may relate them only to melodic minor 7th degree. dunno
