I would say Zion Williamson *definitely* needed to be on this list. His current reputation is horrible to say the least being marred with less than 35 games per season being as unhealthy as he is. Not to mention his new off-court controversies. From being the 2019 number one overall pick to potentially being called a bust if the pattern repeats this season, especially since all eyes will be on the future in Victor Wembamyama, this is certainly a make-or-break year for Zion.
Zion doesn’t need to be here. When healthy, he’s proved why he was the number one pick. Off court issues don’t need to be brought up in what he brings to the court. He just needs to take care of his body and be healthy. When he plays he’s a monster.
@@wg5331casual alert ⚠️ 📢
@@wg5331yes he does what good is playing less than 35 games as a number one pick he’s been doing this since he came in the league you can’t be injured all the time and then people still say oh but when he plays he does this and that.
@@Syntherealest Injuries happen. Some people get them, some don’t. Could be lack of training, could be style, could be bad luck. Look at D Rose. Everyone says what if about him… everyone knew he could ball, he just needed to not be hurt. Zions in the same boat right now. He doesn’t need to step up his game at all like the video is about. He just needs to keep his ass on the court and kick the injury bug
@@wg5331key word “when healthy” which he never is
Ayton is tough. He needs to improve his attitude, not necessarily his skill. It was def his fault but he was not rewarded when he established post position or ran the floor and that COULD get worse with beal, kd and booker (unless booker decides to become a 19/7/7 and work th3 two man game with ayton. Less would be more for booker.
Half of these were a reach at the highest level.
I agree
Content monkey generation
fax how u putting keegan murray on the last dude had a better rookie season than expected
I think this is more about these players stepping up or improving upon their season
@@ur_a_smartass_carl no one is paying u to think 🤫
people sleeping on Poole, I think that fight with Draymond tuned him out. I say this cause you don't just forget how to ball how he was balling in 1 season
Idk how I feel about Austin being on this list, if he can play at the same level he did at the end of the lakers season no one will complain because at the end of the day he’s a undrafted player who was on a 2 way deal and is now on a great nba deal, yet almost everyone in this video is literally a lottery pick lmao
If Austin averages at minimum 16 on good - great shooting splits then he’s doing pretty good lol
Love too see sustain winning coming from the same town as him I can say him even making the league is crazy enough no one has ever been in the league from here he’ll it’s basically an all white hick town with only 1800 people about an hour an a half too the closer Walmart so it’s beyond insane he even made the league
I just need Mobley to average 20 10 and 3 a game.
This. I think this is what the Cavs’ FO is betting on. He just needs to continue to be aggressive but also in control. I’m hoping his shot is more confident next season. Love his potential
Facts! Garland I hope takes a step back, go more in the passing and for generalship directing and allow Mobley and Mitchell to be the 2 main scorers
Ben Simmons, from play 1 game to 2games this season
You forgot Scottie Barnes
He did Scottie has a lot of potential
Only a civilian would think an NBA player's contract is strictly based on his performance on the court
It was two tales of two half seasons last year for Bol Bol Bol. First half he was 🔥. Second half he was still woozy from his illness. All he has to do is repeat his first half throughout the entire 2023 - 2024 season and he'll do fine. But yes: it's now or never. He signed a one-year contract.
as a warriors fan james wiseman better be in this video
Ja isn’t gonna be out “half the year” he’s not even going to be out 1/3 and just barely a 1/4
If you include potential injuries or any other misbehavior on his part you can definitely count him being away 1/3 of the year
Hope Kuminga can finally put it together
Jordan Poole definitely going to score
The wizards are my team but they are going to massively suck on defense
"The Rockets messed up" if VanVleet isn't a GOD is ridiculous... what else could they have done? It is a bad contract yes but its not like the Rockets have title aspirations during VanVleet's timeline.
Vanvleet is on the team long enough for his like green, Thompson and Sengupta to develop. He's the pg they need because green and kpj ain't it
Poole will average 30 and the wizards will win 30 games
The quality of videos you post could improve as well
Kuminga and moody MUST improve. Thyre whats left of that young additions and are up for contracts. Jalen green must improve because hes been wildly undisciplined and has a hard caoch in udoka coming. Wiseman MUST improve because he was a #1 pick and there is less pressure but more comp on his team for minutes. Patrick williams needs to improve for the bulls, hes got the most 2 way potential but hes playing with offensive black holes in derozan, lavine and vucevic
Vanvleet got paid to be the man with green for 3 seasons. Toronto had too many guys and are going young. He needs to be healthu amd a leader more than anything
Bridges showed flashes and probably needs to become a better faciliatator but we dont know what that team is yet so he just needs to play
Bane is going to get the opportunity to be a 25+ ppg player. He was already great w/out ja in large spurts next to jones. Hes straight
keegan murray is a 2nd year player who is good as the third option right now. Sabonis MUST improve on offense, specifically from 15 to 20 ft because hes left open too much. He also needs to be a better defender
Bam needs to be more aggressive. He shouldnt be the offense initiator ans they have shooters. He needs to hit the 18 footers
W
That whole bit on Bam is the definition of tell me you don't watch the Heat without telling me you don't watch the Heat
I disagree with Bam. Dude is good enough to playmake and even at time showed elite level (especially in the playoffs). His jumpshot diet has increased and more efficiently too! Without Tyler, Max, and probably Duncan, he won’t have to set screens all game and be more of a paint presence and also get more boards as well (even tho 10 for all he’s asked to do is pretty incredible)
Okay… here’s my vendetta against people saying players “NeEd tO be A sTar!?” Or NEED to average X, Y, or Z otherwise they’re a bust. That simply isn’t true. The media, fans, and league put WAYYY too much hype and pressure on these guys. When they enter the league they’re still barely adults. They have YEARS to adapt and play. The only people who are “busts” are the people go we EXPECT to be all start caliber players when not every overhyped prospect pans out that way. Especially so young.. if they’re in their prime that’s different. But if these guys are under 26 and you’re expecting them to carry the weight of an entire organization because WE THE FANS expect them to or they’re a busy, that’s just not fair. Ppl were SO quick to write off Andrew Wiggins, and now he’s an NBA champion. Give these young guys a few years first. Like damn.. 💀
I agree with this. Only thing I will say is that it’s hard not to once they get off of their rookie contract and they get max contracts or get hefty contracts. That money is an investment in talent. Most players that play at an elite level do it by year 4 or 5. And that’s where these players are headed aside from Keegan Murray and Austin Reaves
@@jaquanterry4737 I can totally understand this too. But that’s why a lot of that money they get is what I call “Cash for potential” Most of these teams pay these big bucks because they see these stars turning into superstars. Not because they deserve the money or already are stars.
I think it’s safe to say that jordan poole isn’t a star player
i think Vezenkov may actually start instead of Keegan
I highly doubt this.
@@Sosahoops if you had watched the last season of euroleague, you would have had a different opinion
I Have Jalen Green winning MIP
This is a hot take. 1st the guy doesn't have the discipline to win any award. 2nd he is against his temmates. 3rd Rockets are so bad that almost every star last year had crazy stats against them.
What the hell
I got Bol Bol winning it or Malik Monk
I’d put Deni Avdija in there
Hi
zion should be here also scottie barnes and shaedon sharpe with a bigger role next season
PATRICK WILLIAMS
The lamelo disrespect is crazy😭 he is great when he aint injuried. The same goes for zion. And Lonzo, but that one is more complicated😢
Lamelo is overrated just like Zach Lavine
Wiseman and Cummingga need to improve also
jordan poole proving the warriors he was worth the stay 🔥
Ok
Yes and no m the new coach was going to make it more difficult to keep him, but it was already hard if they were gonna keep draymond. Him moving is the best thing Hervey he will have the ball in his hands and not have yoyo minutes
Ol
Lamelo just needs to improve his shoe game and start wearing high top shoes! Wearing the low top shoes just ain’t working!
His shoes ain't even low tops for one and two wearing low tops don't mean shit for your game. Curry wears lows, KD mostly wears them now, and so does Lebron. Booker and Ja mostly wear lows too. What point are you trying to make?
Yo this list is so off.
First
Wrong
PDOG1219 was first
Draymond saying Ayton trash without CP3 is a complete joke. Ayton played well before we traded for CP3. As if he’d be anything without that warriors organization
And green is even more trash without Steph
Most of these are a reach there’s only 2-3 guys here that “MUST IMPROVE”.
You know nothing.
Wow a 2nd year player needs to take the next step?? No way 🫥
