Pls open and read ➡️ Hello Nagoya! This was the first time hubby and I have been to this city and we LOVED it! I found that the preloved designer shopping was a lot cheaper than in Tokyo and they had so many stores there! I share 5 of the best ones we visited and I bought something from nearly every store which I will reveal in my HUGE JAPAN HAUL. Part 2 of my Nagoya, Japan vlogs coming soon, we visited some beautiful sights, more shopping and yummy food! Hope you enjoy this vlog xx Mel P.S Have you entered my HERMES GIVEAWAY? Ends in 3 days! Can’t wait to see all your goodies! How awesome that both our hubbies tolerate luxury shopping well. Makes a huge difference in the experience. We are lucky ladies!
Hi Mel! Love this Japan series (and all your travel vlogs in general)! Do you mind doing a video showing how you effectively sanitize and deodorize your vintage purchases (bags, SLGs, clothes, shoes, etc.) without harming the items? I always stop by vintage luxury shops when traveling, but have never bought anything because I can't get over the [often] musty smells! 😬
Mel I wish I was healthy and strong enough (and younger🙄😂) to go to Japan. A friend of mine is going in October and she is going with a group of friends. I probably wouldn’t be able anyway because I can’t afford it…and that’s okay.I’ll see her pictures when she gets back. I love these videos SO much,it’s like I am with you…thank you for that.🙏🏻🥰
Hi!! I loved the vintage shopping in Japan! From Tokyo I bought myself the vintage ellipse PM bag in MG from 1998 (?) and it was in pristine condition!! I paid about $890 USD. It’s something I’ve always wanted was glad to have found one in person.
Japan is my dream trip for Mom's ancestors, Nagoya esp beloved. Challenging with food allergies and likely wheelchair. Bucket list topper for the food! They're said to have the best Wagyu in the world in Nagoya. You found such fabulous shopping! Lucky! Those bags, spoilt for choice. Hubby finding a jacket is a bonus. I want to try to get into shops, but it looks like lack of elevators and ramps will stop me? Glad I can see Japan through videos like yours💕💕💕
Can’t wait for your haul. I’m going to Japan in 3 weeks so it’d be amazing to find out what you got from where. Thank you for always sharing amazing videos 🙏🏻
Yes overall, I liked shopping here better than Tokyo, (although I still really enjoyed Tokyo) but it's less busy and the prices were a lot better. Def recommend visiting Nagoya for a couple of days xx
MELLLLLLLL!!! I may have said, "Hold Up Mel", a few times during this video. I Pause - Rewind throughout this entire Vlog. Mel, I would Still be in that Large Store. I so appreciate what you do here, all this footage close up clear shot. Girl, I was .... "I want that, that, That & THAT. I just loveLoveLOVE vintage shopping...I KNOW You found some Gorgeous Goodies (an EXOTIC piece or two?). I remember when I lived in Japan, I couldn't get over how many Louis Vuitton bags I seen worn. The mono Eclipse was very popular then, even amongst the younger ladies. I'm such a sucker for seeing the food & all the Yummies...I was viewing the menu even.😆 I miss Japan & all the vibes there. Thanks so much Mel, I Truly enjoyed this Vlog.🧡✨️ p.s. Mel, I REALLY liked the Cropped GG Sweatshirt & you looked Super Cute wearing it. I soSoSO hope your DH got the Dior Leather Jacket, as it looked very nice on him. ✨️
Sometimes they have events in nagoya where so many vintage shop from all over japan gathered.. and sell in very low price.. they also sell rare vintage items..
Hello Mel..loved the lavender colour constance, large bolide and garden party. Hope you purchased the lavender constance as you were unable to purchase the lavender chanel. Looking forward to see your haul. Stay blessed.
Japan has changed so much since I used to frequence the country quite often due to work. Especially Tokyo. Prices on 2nd hand and vintage are wayyyy up. Still, I would rather buy in Japan than anywhere else. But looking at the huge surplus of both bags and clothing in your video made me realize that the luxury world as we have known it has really been watered out by over consumption. The rows and rows with LV, Gucci and others are not even tempting and actually looks a little «cheap» to me. It is quite telling when even jewelry like Cartier and VCA are for sale in such quantities🤔.
Hi Mel, could you tell me if the Bolide your hubby tried on was the "voyage"? It should measure about 40cm, is it right? I really liked it and would like to understand what size it is. Was it really very heavy? I hope you can give me some more information, everything was so beautiful! 😘
Hi Mel, been watching your lux videos and I am learning so many things.. May I know if you were able to check the price for the Hermes Picotin you found in Japan stores? Thank you!
