I watch your videos in the gym while doing cardio and have been loving them so much. Thank you for the time you put in! It’s lovely to see these different places :)
I love your haul! Everything you picked up is so stylish but also done with mindful intention. Thanks so much for sharing your Japan adventures and makes me excited to visit someday too!
Your vlogs are a joy to watch, theyre so professionally made. Having lived in HK for 10 years and now back in Australia, Im looking forward to seeing more of HK!
I just found your vlogs, and I absolutely love your world. I am European, living between Australia and Bali, and it's so interesting to see your life. In many ways, it's very different and yet very similar at the same time. Thank you for sharing❤
💯 agree with you about the neon signs and Hong Kong! I hope their preservation continues, so that next time we are in Asia we can appreciate them and everything else Hong Kong has to offer!
Hi guys, I just came back from Japan last week. The shopping and food is to die for. I looked through the vintage and used clothing stores. But I found them to be so expensive. I found one in Hiroshima that was so beautiful . Many levels and lots interesting stock. But nut enough room in my case . A lot of big items . But so cool. ❤
I just love your shopping vlogs. It’s amazing that the thrifted items are cleaned and pressed. Here in the NY/ NJ area, most thrift stores are messy and the clothes are not in as good condition (imo). You both have a keen eye and look great in all your picks. Glad you made it back home with all of your luggage and “treasures”. Wishing you both a very Happy Holiday! 🥰☃️🎶🎁
Same in Canada- although I try not to call it thrifting in Japan since it’s curated and cleaned… whereas my thrift stores in Canada is straight from a donation pile!
Hi Sam/Victor, do you have any recommendations on where to stay around Ginza? My wife and I enjoy your vlogs. You guys are inspired us to visit both Hong Kong and Japan!
Ahhh so glad you went to Amore! I didn’t even realize they have 2 stores dedicated to diff brands. I’m also planning to go there in January, so excited!
AW MAN. just got back from Tokyo and wish I would have seen this one! I watched all of your other Tokyo vlogs but this one was one of the best. Next time!
Hi. Love the Japan series and the earlier Paris series. Great vibes and aesthetics. Appreciate the authenticity too, where you not just feature the posh hotels you stay but also the more functional hotels you interspersed with during your trips. That’s exactly what we do too. One question, for the Akari lamp, does the voltage work in HK or there’s some kind of dual voltage plug?
Another lovely video! Thank you! They have an Ogawa coffee shop in Boston, not sure if it’s the same. Thanks for bringing us along for vintage shopping!
That GU jacket looks great. Tried to find a way to get it to the UK but can’t find it online! Looks like they have a store in New York but that’s it overseas
You should have bought the Lowe’s jacket. Then all you need is Menards, you’ll be all set. All the thrift shops were packed with shoppers. Glad it did not deter you from going in. Me, I like to shop where it is quiet. I forgot to add Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Yea I would’ve gotten that Home Depot leather one in a heartbeat if Hong Kong had a longer winter season! Wasn’t worth the money for the duration of time I could wear it (but I do semi regret it haha)
Hey Sam, was wondering about the Converse you bought. I can't seem to find it in my home country; do you mind sharing the full product code/name with me? I tried to search the name up (converse light sole sneakers) but couldn't find any 🥺
@@SamandVictor Thanks! Is it just me? I It’s very interesting to see what guys get in Tokyo. I will be totally lost in my old hometown. Was amazed how you navigated the town.
I went into MOMA once and they told me they didn’t have stock but when I checked their online shop you could order! So I asked that girl we had just met to call MOMA to ask if we purchased online could we ship to the shop.. ends up they just sent a couple lamps to the physical store and we had one reserved under our name (but didn’t need to pay). I would get your hotel concierge to help you call the shop to ask if they can do the same thing (or ship to your hotel)
Very interesting , can I ask you about that coffee at Ogawa? How did it taste ? What is the salted milk ? Really wonder 🤔 Thought it may taste like coffee w. salted caramel syrup or sth like that ha😅
Man, fuglen was my daily spot until it blew up. I used to go daily around 2019/2020 but now the wait is too long! im gonna try some of the other spots in ur vid. howd they stack up against fuglen? im finally moving to tokyo and i want to find a spot to replace it for my daily coffee/work hour in the morning!
Omg how much was that diesel blue denim texture long sleeve with metal logo on the front?? 😍😍😍 I’m going to Tokyo from Vancouver in Jan so Idk if I should get it here or there
Loved your haul and how lucky it was to meet such a random friendly stranger to help with getting that lamp. Can’t wait to see how you style it in your apartment! Also loved how the coffee shop guy said Victor could open his own coffee shop with his coffee set up! 😂
Great video, I'm putting together a list of the vintage/thrift stores to check out when I visit Japan in the next month or so. Is the address for フォークス correct? I tried looking for it but I'm getting no results.
Hi Paul! It should be correct- if you google map the shop across ‘New York joe shimo’ it’s the shop right across. But here’s the address again: 小清水ビル 1階, 2 Chome-35-9 Kitazawa, Setagaya City, Tokyo 155-0031, Japan
Uggghh I’m so upset I didn’t get to have a shopping experience like yours! The things you got were sooo good. But I’m obsessed with the metallic pink Diesel mini bag, do you remember how much it was?
You both just influenced me into using a round trip ticket to Japan. Your dogs are so professionally made yet relaxing.
Vlogs not DOGS LOL
forreallll, now i have this uncontrollable urge to book a trip to japan asap🫠🤣
@@KellyStamps I read this before finishing her video and I was like ??? until I saw your own reply HAHA

Dear Sam & Victor, love the vlogs! I was wondering where the building at 7:15 in the video was located?
Hi Sam and Victor .... thanks for sharing and here's wishing you Happy holidays

Def cheaper in Japan with the tax back! Also a wider selection (although I haven’t been to many vintage stores in Canada)
