I have had my holzfforma 070 for over a year now. I couldn't get the carb to take an adjustment. Even had my friend that used to work at a Stihl dealer take it for a week. Ended up buying a Tillotson 424 carb for it. Runs great now. Fell a 42in red oak, 38in ash, 48in pine and a 58in maple so far. I just got the holzfforma 372 yesterday. My friend that works at the Husqvarna dealer is going to check it out for me tomorrow.
Check the oiling when you get a chance and let me know. Some people have shown that the slot in the metal plate doesn’t match up to the slot on the housing and they weren’t getting all of the oil on their bars.
Hi Christopher... Shipping is generally fast worldwide about 4/5 days and Huztl will normally ship within a few days after purchase. In Ireland it can be held up to a week with customs to calculate import tax...
Hi...kill switch works fine. I choke out my saws when finished cutting...gives me plenty oil on the bottom end for the next time I use it... Old habits I guess
Your chain is sagging badly. If you run it a lot like that you will have all sorts of problems, one of the more devious is 'bar roll' ...mushrooming of the bar along the rim (check with fingernail, grind or file flat).
New chain, they stretch..also it's not uncommon for aftermarket clutch drums to be slightly off center, if you notice at one point at the start of vid the chain looks good and tight... I'll chain drum at some point.. a .325 link and strap on a 3/8 chain wouldnt matters either...wouldnt be the first time ive seen it on a customers chain!!
@@mickmac7264 I figured exactly what you said along with video production reasonable limitations. Still... It made me cringe and provides you a good springboard to a potential video explaining the seldom discussed and most devious topic of 'bar roll'. Damage of a chain that lose starts immediately. You are the Pro, you know all that and wayyy more and everything I know about chainsaws I learned the hard way.
@@SunriseLAW I'm learning every day, there's always something new .. yes, that would certainly be a good topic for a vid as I'm seeing a lot more of this of late... Cheaper saws so I guess some quality has to suffer but a great point you raised here as to what area of these saws should never be just an aftermarket part in terms of safety...I feel a video coming on : D
Yeah starting to suck a little as it is.... problem I find in this game if I'm tuning a saw for a customer, after a carb rebuild or engine rebuild you can't wear ear protection in order to listen and detect any issues..
@@mickmac7264 sure dont worry about it I have 46 percent hearing loss caused by drums guns and chainsaws, phonak make great hearing aids ya cant see though they are the price of two new husky 395XP's
she's a strong runner. i just received the 070 from holzfforma, but this one is on the wishlist!
Yeah can't fault it at the moment... The 070 is on my wish list! 😀
MickMac 72 I’ll drop a link here when I’ve done my first cuts with it.

Hi...all good with oiling I did check it as I had that issue with the huztl 660.. I tend to avoid tacky oil with these saws..
Mine oils like crazy 👍
I have never seen one of them. Is it a Chinese husqvarna?
Hi yes.....Link above to website
OEM carb? Stock can lean it out destroy the saw, 🤙
How long did it take to get to you?
