I give them an "A" for effort, but this is at best a shadow of the utter perfection that is The Floyd during PULSE 1994...as a tribute it is appreciated but not a replacement. I'm sure they aren't trying to be anything other than show they love Pink Floyd as much as we all do.
They are not trying to be Pink Floyd. They just want to celebrate Pink Floyd’s music and their legendary concerts. No, this isn’t Pink Floyd but they are incredibly accurate!
Exactly. They're not trying to recreate the past. They're simply putting an extraordinary level of energy and attention into honoring a beautiful chapter from the past. I saw Roger Waters in Raleigh North Carolina in August of 2022. He sounds great when he plays this song. But he doesn't even sound like Pink Floyd. The reference to 1994 was a beautiful chapter in musical history and can never be repeated, only honored and cherished.
