Thanks a lot for a detailed video! 😊 I replaced my battery $50 from a 3rd party on Amazon. Works like a charm. Took me 2 hrs. Battery test after full charge, 8.5h on 40% brightness and no wifi, no activity. High wifi use and 60% brightness is ~ 6h. Also I realized my old battery was charging, but the connection to the brick was loose. I mistakenly thought it was not charging at all. It lasted about 6.5h on full charge and 40% brightness, light wifi. Have been using it for 4 yrs moderately 2018-2022. Got new laptop because I wanted a GPU for machine learning studies.
Just did this for my f510ua, hopefully another 3 years of life in this value thin-and-light laptop for my kids. I used it for 5 years and the batter life still wasn"t terrible at 1.5 hours.
Hy! Thak you for video! You amazing! This file contains the boardview, ok? You can provide the eletrical diagram of the Motherboard or the pwm, please? Have a great day!
Can you use this laptop without a battery and just having it plugged in all the time? I'm considering just taking mine out since the battery life is terrible and I'm only using it on my desk anyway
Yes, I have this laptop. You should be able to use it plugged in all the time, but no need to take out the battery. You can set the battery health charge target to 60% as an option. I did replace the battery and it lasts full 6-8h depending on display brightness and wifi use.
@@datasciyinfo5133 my battery currently lasts for one hour with battery saver and lowest screen brightness, and if I turn off battery saver it just completely drains the battery in like ten seconds, no matter how full it is. I left the battery in for now since it's not bloated, but I was asking in case it was and I couldn't leave it in

It's so hard to remove the wire of the battery!!!
Really great video!
But does changing the battery will impact the memory? is there a risk of losing all the data inside the laptop's hard drive?
Hey sorry for the delay response. It does not impact the memory.
Hi, how long should I charge after battery replacement? 8hrs?😅
You may charge it until it’s 100% and use it as your normally would use your Laptop.
