- A fun vlog of my first Walt Disney World solo trip. I had fun but I definitely learned some things that I wanted to share with anyone else who's considering a trip to Disney alone.
Have you all been to Disney World or Disney Land solo before? Not gonna lie, I was super nervous to be traveling to Disney by myself.

The awkwardness comes from thinking people care at all that you're by yourself. Trust me everybody is in their own world and they do not care or even notice that you're by yourself. What I do when while in line is just bring a pair of ear buds, listen to music, and just chill out on my own. I've done several solo trips and it's like no other trip. You can do whatever you want and once you get a taste of that freedom, you'll want to do more solo trips. ✌
Oh 100%!! We think other people care and truly no one cares or notices that you’re alone or what you’re doing. They’re busy worrying about themselves as we all do!🤗

@@allthingshome6953 In 2018 I wanted to go to Dubai and no one wanted to go with me so I went solo and loved every minute. Then I saw a video where this woman had gone to Disney alone and I started thinking - I could do that. I have been to Disneyland lots of times but always with family and this time no one wanted to go. At 72, I don't have time to wait for someone to go with me so I ventured out myself. If Disneyland were near-by where I didn't have the expense of flying, heck I would go all the time.
When I went without my family years ago I felt some of the awkwardness that you described while waiting in lines alone, but my biggest obstacle to overcome was guilt of doing something for myself. I have since realized how important it is to do things for yourself and am about to go on another solo trip to Disney! Woohoo!
I can totally relate to that, it’s hard to be ok with making time for yourself and to do things strictly for you. But I agree it’s so important! I hope you have a fantastic trip!🤗

I’ve been having an inner struggle with myself. I have 12 days of freedom right now, before I start a new job. A part of me really wants to do this, but after watching this vlog I feel kinda sad. I love Disney, but like you said, it seems a bit lonely with nobody to talk to or experience it with. Kudos to you for doing this & thank you for sharing it with us!
So here’s what I’ll say, although some parts felt lonely I did still have a fun time at Disney by myself. You might want to try it just once to see how you like it! And before a new job would be such a fun treat for yourself to celebrate!!
My fiancé’s mom bought me an annual pass out of the blue, and since I live in Orlando I can go solo anytime I want! Just went yesterday and had a blast, brought a book with me so I had something to do in line and I didn’t feel as awkward as I thought I would. My most awkward interactions was constantly telling the cast members that I am a party of 1. And I also noticed that a lot of people stand wayyyy too close to you in line when you’re by yourself.
That’s so awesome!! A book is a great way to have something to do while you’re waiting in line!🤗

Great video. Im glad you tried a solo trip. I go solo a lot since my adult kids do not like Disney (gasp) and my hubby could go either way. I LOVE going solo though. I even eat at character dinners when solo. Have fun in your next adventure. Sorry for the headache.

I would love to go to Disney solo. I can do what I want, when I want, and walk at my own pace (my short legs keeping up with my husband’s natural pace is exhausting). I promise you, when I’m in the parks, I don’t often pay attention to other people and if they’re solo or not, so don’t be self-conscious about it! I love your personality and vibe. ❤

Wow, this was so much fun to watch! My parents took me to Disney World back in 1992 and I would probably say 90% of the attractions now was not there 30 years ago😂, but it was still a magical experience for me as a child even back in the 90s. I am definitely planning a family trip back to Disney World soon! Thanks for sharing!

Great video. I went by myself three times. Twice I had a good time but the third time I didn’t have a good time because I experienced racism with a stranger there while I was waiting on line when I went alone by myself for the third time. I was very angry because that person ruin my trip. I don’t think that I will go alone ever again. If I go, I will go with some that I know.

I love going by myself. No one can keep up with my energy. In the lines,I meet new friends. Can't wait to go back in October.

If my mom can’t take me whether she’s still alive or not, and no one will go with me, I’ll go by myself. I want to go so badly. Been dreaming about going there. I’ve never been there before.
I can’t drive so I would have to get an Uber or something to take me to airport and then get someone to pick me up and take me to hotel and to the Magic Kingdom and other places.
I would be nervous since I’m from another state but I would do it.
I’ve been going to movies alone sometimes. And I spent most of my time alone. So I should be okay.
You should totally go for it! It feels weird at first, but there’s so much to do that you’ll be having a blast and sometimes forget you’re alone!
I'm going back and forth with should I do a solo trip. I may not have someone to go with me this year. I usually go with my son but he's engaged now and may not want to go without his fiancé. I don't want to miss my yearly trip to Disney World. I'm more nervous about taking the plane by myself not standing in a line for a ride. Also there's the single rider line a lot of people are by themselves.
You should definitely consider going solo for your annual trip. I actually didn’t see a lot of people there by themselves when I was there but I’m sure it depends on time of the year and what rides you’re going on! you should totally go for it! It’s a fun time!

I travel to Disney by myself often. Honestly, people are not looking at you in general but if you are vloging then people will look to determine what you are doing. Next time just enjoy the moment.
I enjoyed myself very much. And even while vlogging no one was looking at me! I enjoy vlogging so I was definitely enjoying the moment!🤗 I had the best time, wouldn’t change a thing!
@AriaConnor It is the best place ever. I have traveled solo the past 2 years and it get easier each time. You learn safety tips to reduce the over anxiety and keep yourself safe. You are correct that you realize how annoying/rude people are when you are in line alone. Bring music or audio book.

Yay!! You’re going to have so much fun! My advice is to plan out the things that are most important to you, bring wireless headphones to listen to music or something while you’re in line if you’re not comfortable waiting by yourself or talking to strangers (I’m definitely not), and take advantage of things you wouldn’t normally be able to do if you went with other people! Enjoy and just focus on how much fun you’re going to have!!

What time of year and day did u go where the lines were so fast
This was towards the end of September on a Saturday, and I went pretty much first thing in the morning til late afternoon/evening! I definitely took advantage of the Genie Plus service and lightning lanes when available, totally worth it to me!
