I almost booked my first solo trip, we travel to Disney as a family couple of times a year, usually for a week. It’s a 2 hr flight for us though. I found super cheap flights and thought ok I’ll go for 3 nights by myself to experience the Christmas festivities in Disney. Well, my husband & kid are now tagging along. My husband said… with flights so cheap and the room costing the same for 1 as 3 ppl… why don’t we all take a mini trip. Ugh. Lol. I knew they like it more than they led me to believe 😂. However, next year I plan to take a couple of solo trips. Thanks for the tips!

I've been to WDW many times but have my first solo trip booked for Sept. I'm 70 and driving in from Texas. I can't wait!

How long does it take to drive from Texas? When I was 18 I did a 10,000 mile trip around the USA and it took 6 weeks and I got to visit Texas which was great!

Just got back from a family trip to DLP, safe to say i will be planning a solo trip in the future 🤣 i cant imagine anything better than just doing what i want to do whilst there. Great video as always Sophie ❤

Got back from my holiday yesterday went to doctor as was ill with my asthma lucky not to be in hospital. Biggest tip I have is chrlwck opening hours on a Sunday missed my tron boarding group as thought it opened at 9 am wgmhen it opens at 8. Can't wait to my next solo trip in April

This is such a good tip! It is so easy to get caught out as they can randomly change the opening times, or if there is an event on (especially if it is a private event so the public don't know about it) and the opening hours change! Did you manage to ride Tron? I hope you had the best trip!

I haven’t gone on vacation for four years cos i was the one paying everything I lived by myself I have a roommate now I put down my 200$ deposit in September paid off as much as I could invested in Disney gift cards to not pay anything out of pocket but tips I spent all day watching your channel yesterday very helpful I get my taxes back next week with everything I paid which I got two jobs at one point it will all pay off and I will have everything pre paid before I leave

SO ive recently become single however i still really want to go disney next year. I'm semi tempted of the idea of going from the UK to usa on my own, however I dont know if i would have the bottle to do it, or if i could be self sustaining for 14 days, is it hard? would i get bored? all these things popping up. Id love to know how people go alone, is it hard?
This is such a great series of questions! Visiting solo is my actual favourite way to visit now! It is so amazing to be able to visit Disney and do whatever you like, whenever you like! You control the schedule and budget so you can visit in the way you've always wanted to! With so much to see and do there is so little time to feel bored and definitely enough to fill in 14 days! My last trip I did 3 weeks and it was amazing! If there are times, like being in queues, which could be a bit boring this is the best time to get in touch with home, check social media or listen to some music or a podcast! I would say if visiting solo is something you are considering it is definitely worth taking the leap and it could end up being one of your best ever trips!
