@@joshuad1716 If I wanted the previous M2, I would have purchased that one instead. Heck I might even purchase one in the future, you never know. In the meantime I'm going to enjoy experiencing this new platform and see if I can correct a lot of the controversy it gets.

It's probably a safe bet to let your mom know that she did a good job raising you. The color, and interior is amazing. I wish I could retrofit some of that into my E90.

I saw one of these in person as some random apartment complex 3 weeks ago, and let me tell you. I was NOT a fan of the rear AT ALL, but the rest of the car was looking very very nice! Rear really needs some proper modifications for clean it up haha!

Firstly, congrats on the new platform bro, I've been watching your content since about 2018-2019, you've come a long way, and you should be proud of that.
The M4, I'd have to pass on it, unfortunately, I'm not a big fan current M3/M4, and I'd rather have a E90 335i face-lift like yours or the previous M240i.
Dude, I haven't seen one in the colour yours is, but I drive past two Beemer dealerships on my way to and from work, so I'll drop in and check it out in person if they have one on either lot.
As for content, bro, for starters I'd like to see you just drive it for the sake of driving it. I know you said you don't often drive in Orlando, but I think this car will probably net you more attention than the Supra does. Though hopefully some tuning house like Prior Design comes out with a improved rear bumper design, because that ass, is most certainly unfinished. The rest of the car though is looking pretty sick, I like the very boxy almost muscle car lines that it has from the side.
I can't wait to see what the aftermarket does for the rear! Totally agree in the content part, vlog style stuff seems to do pretty good on this channel anyway

Great looking M2 BMW!! Nice Colour, I think it's got an old but contemporary look to it. Just not use to the gap where the radiator is. However really good looking car, will grow on me. Interior 👌

Yes serious problem is the weight, you overheat the brakes and tyres during a track day quickly and also wear them very quickly. Good for 1-2 fast laps thats all. Then a costly a repair. Good for road though.
I think as far as the G87 is concerned I'm very happy you were able to get this car and in 6speed no less. Think the exterior styling of the M2 is very cyber truck-esq. very boxy and weird in my opinion. I think the color choice is very with the contrasting shadow line and red calipers looks awesome. The interior...... is to die for. Buckets seats look sick. Great purchase overall. Congrats bro.

I like it, I am not there 100% but I think new models need a time to grow on everyone. I believe this is that time. I really miss that there aren't gills on the side. Can't wait to see a nice wing on it since it looks kind of low on the rear.

I found what this car reminds me of. Back in NFS underground 2 you could buy those really weird aftermarket bumpers that looked completely stupid but they would boost your "Visuals" or something like that. Well the new M2 looks exactly like that. Can't wait to see what aftermarket solutions will look like
You should take advantage of the native Bluetooth and navigation on your 2023 model. CarPlay doesn’t even compare to what BMW puts in the car.
I had a 330e as a rental and I had to pull over and teach myself how to use the idrive. The Gender Reveal blue will take some getting used to.

Definitely want to see/hear your perspective on this car....but WRAP it. I"ve seen the color in person too and it didn't change my perspective. It was only when I saw a black one in person that I liked it. GREAT JOB on getting a manual. If the only way to get a manual was this color...then I would take it. ;-)

I think a tune is probably in order first, I’m sure everyone that got one wants the power level of at least the M3/4. Of course with the proper upgrades to what needs to be done first. Hopefully they make a nicer looking rear bumper after market, I think that’s the part that throws off the look.
it does make the same power as a M3 - look for dyno tests on youtube. BMW understated the hp so it wouldn't steal sales from the M3/4

I know that, it’s detuned. What I mean is that’s an easy upgrade to get at least the 20hp missing from factory to that of an M3/4. Or 50hp of the competition variants.
I’ve just NEVER been a fan of the front end… I feel like if I don’t like the interior, it’s definitely a no for me 😂😂
I actually think it’s growing on me, but the performance trumps the aesthetics so I’ll stay tuned for more content. Congratulations man 🎉

Im a technician for BMW and today I did a break in service for the M4 CSL and the interior was the best, bucket seats, full carbon fiber center console, rear seat deletes, a true track car, soon these new G87’s will come in for break in service, but like you said in person this G87 is clean, congrats on the new vehicle!!

It grown on me so much that if i had 90k i would buy the M2 without thinking too much, and i'm an Mustang fan, but the M2 and 1M coupe are perfect in my opinion, this new M2 is even more cool
Can't wait to see what companies make body kit wise. Feel like a nice body kit could fix a lot of the weirdness and make these things look really good. THe overall shape of the car is nice, but the detailing is really weird. A body kit could definitely improve the detailing and make it look a lot more aggressive, and less roblox model.
The front end stock reminds me a lot of the Z series cars. More specifically the E85 through G29 generations.

At first I hated the looks of the M2, and the idea of changing the car like they did, but then you look at it for what it is, 6 speed manual high horse power RWD performance beast of a coupe. Wich is what the M2 has always been, and then I couldn't help it but the looks grew on me like crazy

Lovely car.. I ordered it in Brooklyn gray and I have wait still about 10 weeks till I get it. I am just curious about the gasoline sort (at 11:00 time of the video)... does it absorb just 93 octane (only)? In Europe we should feed it with 98 only (I guess, that M2 G87 should need it, as my M3 G80 should 98 and 911 too. 95 is allowed, but would cause reducing of performance (words of BMW and Porsche)
I've seen one of these new M2's in person, honestly, didn't like the looks of it, it was in the same color too. But surfing around the internet I came by a modified exterior M2 which only then started to appeal to me and I loved the look of it. The interior though... It looks super great, I love how the F series and G series interior looks like. Looking forward for this ones modifications and changes!
