The Daleks have returned, and the Doctor must once again prepare to sacrifice everything to save the universe. He sends Rose home against her will, but even as Jack and the Doctor are preparing to make their final stand, Rose is not about to give up.
EDITING NOTES: I went through TWO last-minute song changes on this one, and it was only because of a fanvid I happened to spot for a German soap opera (Christian + Olli = fantastic Jack/Ianto substitution) that I found this rather amazing song. But after hearing it and really paying attention to the lyrics I got a little nervous, it being a Christian song and me being agnostic bordering on atheist. In the end I decided to go for it, and it turned out this song was made for this episode. I love when vidding surprises me this much.
Also, this one is a little more spoiler-y than would be prudent for an episode trailer, but there's just too much awesome stuff not to include it. This is also the longest one so far, for the same reason.

Doctor: You know what they call me in the ancient legends of the Dalek home world? The Oncoming Storm. How did you survive the Time War?
Dalek Emperor: They survived through me.
Rose: There's thousands of them now. What are we going to do?
Doctor: We could leave.
Rose: Yeah, but you'd never do that.
Doctor: No, but you could ask. Never even occurred to you, did it?
Rose: Well, I'm just too good!
Jack: You are worth fighting for.
Rose: Doctor! What are you doing?
Doctor: Have a good life. Do that for me, Rose. Have a fantastic life.
Dalek Emperor: Purify the Earth with fire. The planet will become my temple and we shall rise.
Jack: One last time!
Mickey: You can't spend the rest of your life thinking about the Doctor.
Rose: How do I forget him?
Rose: The Time War ends.
Aw, thank you so much! The music really did make this one work so well... it's definitely my favorite of the ones I've done so far.
Am I the only one who just loves the line, "THEY SURVIVED THROUGH ME."

This is so intense and beautiful. It's a wonderfully powerful recap of this amazing episode. The Doctor's and Rose's emotions (loss and regret and sorrow and love) are so palpable. And my heart just swelled at the very last clip. This is lovely beyond words.

I loved this, the song is perfect for the story and yeah there are a lot of spoilers but it sums up the episode fantastically and it sets the right tone.
Thanks! I'm always struggling to overpower the source music, which means it's hard sometimes to get the dialogue as audible as I'd like it. This was one of the less successful attempts :\ I'm hoping to get an external hard drive sometime soon, which would allow me a lot more space for better clips/audio :)
Very nice, however at some points, particularly the beginning I found that the music didn't really go along with the clips and that sometimes it overpowered the audio overlays.
Great video! I'd just suggest, like sine other people, making the dialogue a little louder, or the music a little quieter. (But I have no idea how difficult that is, seeing as I haven't made any videos.) The song fits really well, even if it is a little on the loud side. What song is it?
Thank you! I feel a little weird praising my own work, but I have to admit that when I watched the finished vid, there may have been a squee or two. And possibly a small victory dance.
Awesome, perhaps try duplicating the audio from the clip in the timeline, that's what I do if I can't make it loud enough :)

Was ok. But the music overpowered the acting and brilliant lines. Including the dalek emperor.
Also, I would name it "fanmade trailer", as I was expecting it to be official from the title.
