    As a stone cold german, this band allways opens my soul wide and i cant go out for a few hours cause when one takes a look in my eyes he can see the fragility behind all the walls. Flook, just keep going.

    A song like this really belongs in a film about na daoine sidhe. It's so magically fantastical that one could only express through movement how it makes them feel. Especially at 2:13. That burst of energy just makes me want to frolic and lep with my faerie kin.

      I agree, no closer to the feel of Ireland . Moves my soul to a place I long to return

    Simply gorgeous. The melody in the lower registers of Finnegan's flute is sublime in its invention... evokes something magical in my imagination... like dark green reeds in a blue dusk.

    I can't stop listening to this. Live recordings like this hit me so much harder than the same set canned. The new album is amazing, and this is doubly so. You lot inspire me every time I listen. I can only hope that any of my own projects sound a quarter as good.

    I stumbled across Flook years ago on a Celtic online radio station. What a breath of fresh air. Amazing group of musicians. I hope to see them next Fall if they are performing :)

    Probably my fav tune of the album! It's not so common to see Brian playing on his flute. I mean last time I saw him on the flute he still had hairs on his head :p)
    Does someone knows who is the maker of that flute actually?

    • @Ignacio.e
      @Ignacio.e 4 года назад +2

      I believe that flute was made by Marcos Llope.

    If there are any flautists out there, do any of you know why the female player stands on one leg? At first I found it odd, then thought she was using a small footstool. But then I realized she was actually balancing on one leg while playing and was solid as a rock. Finally I realized how amazingly difficult that would be. I would have thought standing on one leg would cause a flautist to be unsteady and reflect in their playing but, she seemed laser focused and controlled. I wonder if that's why she does it? To kind of act as an exercise to allow her to focus and control her breathing. Whatever the reason, I'm impressed.

      check out ian anderson from jethro tull, possibly one of the worlds most well known flute players who plays standing on one leg.there is a reason for this and you will find it
