    Thank you for making and sharing this video. It has been very helpful. I am planning on doing this loop (clockwise) in a couple months. Do you recommend staying Bubbs Creek or Vidette Meadow at the end of my trip?

      I stayed at Bubbs Creek when I did this loop and at Vidette Meadow when I did the JMT. I think Vidette Meadow wins for me. It has a lot of flat area to camp near the creak. It has a bear box if you need it. You might go slightly out of the way for those sights when doing the loop, but it's a nice area.

      We did this hike at the very end of September. It was only a day or two after the permit system ended for the year. Thanks for watching, Neal!
