I harvest my colostrum with my 1st born son. So glad I did because he wouldn't latch due to tongue tie. I had around 5 syringes worth. I pumped on day 3 postpartum and got so much milk. Little man was in NICU for a week so I'm glad I managed to pump a good amount of milk for him. I'm currently 36 weeks with my 2nd which is a girl and will start to harvest again next week. 💗🤰

Can I harvest it if I’m sick with covid or is it no good?🥴

Yes you can. If anything it is likely to give your baby antibodies for covid. However, it is not recommended before 36 weeks.

Absolutely Yes!!! Babies aren’t born with an immune system so they rely on the antibodies in your milk!
