Whoops, perhaps I didn't talk enough about the vocals. It is worth noting that looking back, the feeling of quiet sounding is most likely because of the less forward upper mids and lower treble. Speculation area : Since I no longer has the Mega5EST, the Moondrop Blessing 3, and Variations. Crosschecking the treble and upper mids for vocals, it seems like the Mega5EST is less forward out of the 3. Perhaps this is also why on Blessing 3 and Variations they score slightly less in the technicalities.
This IEM has dethroned my Monarch. It smokes everything I have including Anole VX. it's an absolute steal. Sounds like Semi-open headphones vs an IEM. Cool technology. If you're looking for the next best thing, this is it hands down. Sounds very wide and tall stage as well.
Oouuu good question! My top 2 is definitely Symphonium Crimson and 64Audio Volür. The third one would be Mega5EST. But realistically speaking 1. Mega5EST 2. My Zero:Red (this is mostly because I have this saying "The best things are the ones you own" and I own the Zero:Red and I'm very happy with it.) 3. 7Hz Sonus
There's a lot of 100-500 dollars IEMs that I haven't tried, so far nothing really stands out to me. So I just skipped them all and went straight to Mega5EST. How about yours ? 😆
@@TechieFelixLP To answer, currently my favorite for electronic/synth/pop/jpop/kpop is Multiverse Mentor but due to being an all BA set, it's extremely eartip *and fit* dependent. for ballads/acoustic/orchestral genres, my favorite right now is Khopesh. IEMs I'm interested in are Canpur CP54e, Mega5EST, and Doscinco. Btw, I checked out your videos on Volur and Crimson. would it be right to say in your heart of hearts at the moment, Volur is your#1 and Mega5EST is your #2?
Oof, that's a tall order bro... I don't own neither of them, and the demo unit of them are scarce in my country... I will surely try my best to get my hands on them. But for now, I think it's rather hard for me to do that comparison...
In terms tuning to the variations is not really an upgrade because the tuning is not the same had it actually been tuned harman then that’s another question - upgrades are a fallacy there is no upgrade just a different flavor
@@thaflybear maybe! I no longer have the unit at hand, but a little boost in the upper midrange and treble should in theory boost the perceived detail retrieval.
I asked the doctor about it since it's not normal either for me, but they said it might just be an injury. Maybe because I use it to open laptops back when I did services...
LMAO yea I have a slight difficulty speaking. Especially in English it get exaggerated a lot 😆 + the editing isn't helping. But, thanks for your input and thank you for watching!
Yup, that it true, or I should practice to get some rest in between paragraph or so. Leave a little blank space so I don't speak to fast or just relax a little. Thank you so much Bro! Wishing you the best as well!

Ouuu! Good to hear that! Have been wondering how the Monarchs sounds. Still in my try list for sure 😆!
Thank you for stopping by! Have a nice day
Why do you say it sounds better than the Monarch and Anole VX? Is it the tonality, technical performance or something else?
Brilliant!!! Thx for review!
You are welcome! Thank you for watching 😄
do you have a iem ranking page ?
Yes, but it's not tangible for now
hi, im new to your channel. as of right now, which IEMs are your top 3 (in order regardless of price)?

I like the crispness of Crimson way more than the Mega5EST

Good opinion bro! That is correct! But in case your taste slightly "mature" or it changed somehow... The Mega5EST can be considered an upgrade 😄
Blessing 3 has better techs?
In terms of Detail Retrieval, for me, it is a yes 😄
But it's most likely due to the tuning of Blessing 3 and the Mega5EST.
@@TechieFelixLP Is it likely that Mega5 would be more technical with EQ? I assume it would with those ESTs and probably higher quality BAs

Unrelated, but you should get that dark line on your nail checked out. Could be a birthmark but could also be something more serious!

@@TechieFelixLP i think the editing makes it really bad. If you just do more takes, you might get a better result. I wish you all the best!
