Symphonium x Nightjar Meteor: Literally Small Size, Massive Sound

Costing around $600 at the time of writing, the Meteor might be one of my favorite IEM due to the configurations it has, the sound is overall immaculate, not to forget the craftsmanship both Nightjar and Symphonium has brought. The YI01 is a dual Dynamic Driver IEM from a rather new brand. Costing around 70 to 79 Dollars, the YI01 is a great first IEM from Soratune. If I summarize the whole review and you’re like me who likes the Truthear Zero:Red, I think the YI01 might be an upgrade over them, or… at least it is way more suitable to my preference. Can you tell me the your playlist titles of your background music👁👄👁✨️👏
Most of them are Genshin Impact's Background Music 😄
Esse e o relógio, paixão a primeira vista...
Hey man, thanks for unparalleled effort. I was just wondering if could differentiate the sound between this great IEM and its brother Mega5P Ultra. I'm leaning more on metal music like Periphery, Bring me the Horizon etc and sometimes instrumental gent such as Polyphia. And could you also give your POV on the fittings on the ear?
Ah, I don't have it anymore but they're quite huge for my ears
As for the sound, if I remember correctly, I think the treble performance isn't bitey enough for Metal tracks (or at least to my taste), believe it or not we have a similar playlist 😄
@ I really appreciate you man for your prompt response and glad to hear that we're on same track here at least for the music preference.
This set looks right in my wheelhouse…thank you..!
You're welcome!
Nice and well done review! I recently purchased the Gimlet and Aviation, the Mimosa will be my next set.
Thank you 😄 and have fun bro! Mimosa is pretty good
Iya iya suka suka
Suka apa tuh ?
I accidentally played high volumes from my dac dongle and the left side was quieter but after playing some music it solved itself somehow.... any engineer here think its because uneven pressure that resolved itself or might it be related to problems with the driver?
Rekomen eartips ada ga ya buat bunny apa stock nya udh cukup
Sebenernya bawaan udah cukup sih... Kalo buat agan, ada kendala fitting kah ?
@@TechieFelixLP masih otw sih barangnya wkwk, sip klo bawaan nya udh cukup. Oiya klo beda regular sama wide bore di suara apa ya?
Wide biasanya lebih ningkatin frekuensi tinggi bro biasanya. Tapi balik lagi tergantung material, bentuk, dan lain lainnya ya Bro 👍 yang penting cari ukuran dulu aja, fitting pas itu sangat baik
Oke makasih
@Agung_Joestar yooo, masama, semoga cocok Bro!
Bruhhh, it fixed my iem😮 thank you ❤
Haw😢
I have this camera but now its power button not working How i relsove this😢
Not sure
蓝牙有两种模式 一种立体声 一种是蓝牙模式 你需要先确认模式 再使用
The A for tonality makes this a must add to most collections 😃
It kinda is, if you're in the market for one, it's easy to listen to, not to forget going with the DSP Cable allows you to tune your own IEM 👀
You think this will do well with hidizs mp145?
Sorry, I can't really know for sure as fitting can be different from one ear to the other, let alone from one person to the other...
@TechieFelixLP mkay thanks
gak ngerti bahasa enggress😭
🏃💨
Thanxx. I'm just waiting for them to deliver it to the store for collection. probably tomorrow. 1/14/2025. I'm looking forward to the Audeze LCD2-Classic combination
Let me know when they arrive bro
Thank you for the video man!

Bro, you're slipping! Some part of the video isn't in focus bro :(
😭😭😭 Thank you for reminding! Sorry for the quality decline this few videos 😭
@@TechieFelixLPIt alright Bro, you got this! I think you should probably shoot more in 4K. It looks better in that video, Bro!
Thank you! Will keep that in mind!
Hahaha oddly enough, my new KZ ZS10 Pro 2 which I decide to mimic the Truthear Zero:Red graph and character with Harman 2019v2 as a baseline, surprisingly, It become Harman instead of Truthear Zero:Red haha. It's hilarious at the same time it's fascinating that V shaped of a KZ can be Harman haha. And I like it more
Enjoy bro!
Hello Bro Felix , how to significantly improve the Tonality & Technicality of Tanchjim Bunny DSP according to your personal preferences & opinion ? Thank you Brother 🙏🙂👍
I personally enjoy everything about the Bunny right out of the box. Improving tonality? I think tinkering with the Tanchjim App and creating an EQ profile that matches your tonal preference is quite easy, but perhaps it does take some time to setup. As for Technicalities, I think there are a lot of aspect that contributes to the perceived technilities. While the The Bunny is an excellent entry to the budget IEM market, I don't think you can improve all of those things equally. It is either you go for a bright (boosts upper mids to treble area) to get a sense of technicalities or you just setup how your tonal preference is... At this price point, I'm not sure if you could get everything.
Hello Bro Felix, Can the mic in the Tanchjim Bunny DSP be used for WhatsApp calls and Zoom meetings? How is the mic quality of the Tanchjim Bunny DSP for WhatsApp calls and Zoom meetings? Please test the Tanchjim Bunny DSP mic for WhatsApp calls and Zoom meetings first. If it's good, I want to buy the Tanchjim Bunny DSP IEM.
Yup! It can, I'll probably do a big video testing microphones on IEMs I haven't done
Is it an upgrade over the Tanchjim One in terms of sound quality?
Unfortunately, I don't own or haven't tried the Tanchjim One. So no comments there 😄
@TechieFelixLP No problem.
Just got the meteor as well. I can't believe they can achieve such sound with only 4 BAs... It is insane. The resolution and soundstage make even my Andromeda 2019 sounds less clear and narrow...
Really ? They're better than Andromeda ? 😱
@@TechieFelixLP Yes unfortunately... I have a hard time to put the Andros back in my ears now. They sound really BA sound as well compared to the Meteor.
@stephanemangin aw man... That's very unfortunate... I really enjoy my time with the Meteor, however the Meteor can sound a little plasticky on some recordings... But, oh well... You can't really win everything 😄 Love them, hopefully can afford them someday or something similar to it
@@TechieFelixLP Exactly, we can't have it all, unless you go for 1.5k and above...
@stephanemangin oh yea, the Meteor costs 600 buckaroos... That makes complete sense... I lowkey keep forgetting that
Though I like Tanchjim house sound, I'd take the DSP version. Keeps a lot of possibilities open 😊
Yup, I also found it really fun to play around with the DSP version! 😄
@TechieFelixLP specially for me, who loves EQ
@@Musicophile-p5l it's quite fun! I love EQ too, to refresh my memory about how each frequency response to changes 😄
Didn't knew about that, I saw a post once saying that only use DSP for DSP designed IEM, and keep EQ or DACs out of that equation otherwise it would sound pretty bad. Never tested for myself since I don't have a DSP cable, but will definitely try it out in the near future.
Got the dsp version, but i was having trouble with setting up my own EQ. Whenever i change the frequencies and save my EQ locally it would go back to default values whenever I change to a different EQ so i can't do side by side comparisons. Basically if I want my own EQ, i have to set it up once and never touch it again. Is this the same for you?
I'll have to check back on that.
For reference, I use it on my S24 ultra but I also tested it on my other phone. Both show a "this app has not been granted record permission..." everytime I apply a new EQ, seemingly suggesting it has no microphone permissions granted. Not sure if that's the issue but yeah, as of now I'm limited to using presets or community EQs freely only. If my issue persists I think I'm just going to return these
@DadaniJ ah, that could be it ? Honestly it kinda annoys me that it asks me that everytime I changed the EQ around.
how's the treble? peaky?
For me... Not really, but you can say that...
Happy New Year 2025 Bro 🙏🙂👍 KZ Castor Pro Bass VS Tanchjim Bunny DSP, which IEM is better to buy according to your personal preferences between these two IEMs and why ? Thank you Brother 🙏🙂👍
For truthear project red wide bore ear tips are really good.. you will definitely find difference..
Yup, I used the Wide bore... But now I changed to EPZ M100 because the Wide Bore eartips has become loose and stretched
@TechieFelixLP yeah same problem here I am also trying to buy velvet wide bore...
You sound very tired bro, you good ?
By the way! Happy Belated New Year!
I'm quite tired lately hahahah
@@TechieFelixLP get as much rest as you need. The burnout is real.
I just got the dsp version, man they sound cleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeean!
Truly something! While yes in terms of technicalities it might not compete with higher priced models... But for what they are and for people who just got into the hobby and still figuring things out, the Flexibility of the Bunny is something else!
@ I didn’t even realize there was an app, I’m guessing it’s android only?
I use moondrop chu 2 with dac moondrop dawn pro, and the left is louder than right. Is it caused by dac?
Did you clicked it all the way ?
@@TechieFelixLPwell finally I figured out it was caused by filter. Btw, your method helped me repair another headphones. Thank you so much!
we have the same type of gpu but mine has broken fan so i cant use it for now
It's my friend's GPU, you could try and deshroud them and strap some aftermarket fans
Mantap. Bang
Mantap?
Why did you reduce the freq range tp 6khz??
You can refer to Gizaudio's video about that. I think he mentioned about the treble frequency being inconsistent and maybe inaccurate, especially with the common artifact around 8KHz
I was wondering is it bad for iem buds to stay close to each other while i wrap it in a circle like this? Cause they have magnets and stuff inside them?
Yup they do have magnets inside them, sometimes the magnets are strong enough to maybe hurt them overtime, but I think it's almost inevitable honestly. Just don't put a giany magnet around them
Happily surprised to see a Meteor review so deep into its release. Got mine when it came out and have loved it. It’s sound is surprising for such a little package. I don’t have small ears but it fits me well. Using larger tips helps. If you do have small ears and some iems are a problem for you, try the Meteor. Bass hits hard with good texture. Not the speediest but never disappoints. Beautifully tuned with pleasing mids and treble and has its own character overall. I just feel that in todays market it’s a bit overpriced for a 4 BA iem. But almost everyone I see who has one, raves. It’s many's fave set. So try it if you can. We need more places to do so btw. Your review was a good watch/listen. Calming.
Thanks Bro!
@ ok after this I was inspired to break out my Meteors which were put away in a case for a few months. I recently got the Punch and the Mega5EST Bass and both are stellar and recommended. I also now have the Fosi SK01 amp/basic eq and for $80 this thing is a difference maker. The power really helps the two new iems. Haven’t tried it with the Meteors until now. It helps it as well. I’m very glad I watched your vid and broke them out because these hold their own and in some ways bests the others. I’m using the same tips on all 3, Azla max standard. They seem to enhance everything for me and give a great seal. The Meteor's bass is powerful and enveloping and it can handle even more bass if fed. But here’s the takeaway, I hadn’t realized just how lush the Meteors are until now. The soundstage and space is larger than the others, def outside of head. Ambient/dreamy and classical tracks sound magnificent I’m not really a mids/vocals guy per we, I dislike forward mids, early and high pinna gains, shouty peaks etc. the Meteors tuning presents the mids in the most beautiful way without any of those flaws. Then you have sublime treble with upper extension that’s never sibilant. Listening, I’m wondering just how this only has 4 BAs, sounds like 6 or 7 because the textured layering is very much felt. Must be the small metal shells bouncing sound around in a unique way. And the slight reverb/spatial effect I’m hearing gives it a lushness that is unlike anything else I’ve heard. Who cares what’s inside when it sounds this good? Worth the price? Yes. Still deserves a spot among a top 10 list under $1000. The tuning and design of this is sheer genius. Definitely a collector set but one that will be used. It really is an all rounder that might make your favorite iem sound a bit boring. The sound signature is the closest I’ve heard to my LCD X 2021 headphones but with more clarity. Look for a used set of Meteors (might be hard to find) if intrigued or a sale.
@@moonsofjupiter It is indeed very lush and beautiful, it is really special... Especially coming from the Zero:Red it carries over the overall signature and improves on things that I wish the Zero:Red has.
@moonsofjupiter also, glad to hear that you falls in love once again with your Meteor 😄
This dongle works and sounds amazing with my iPhone 15pro max
It works with iPhones ? Is the Eddict Player App available in iOS ? 😄
@ yes sir it is available
I love my Meteor. ❤️ Glad you had a positive experience with the Meteor as well. 🙂
I agree! They're definitely worth the price and I think a very great candidate for one of the "timeless" sound IEM 😄
Try divinus velvet eartips on your meteor if you suffer from pressure build up, I use them on my meteor and it’s a winning combination.
