Thanks ))
Cant stop the A-train baby 😎🤙
Damn thanks man
Definitely agree with that list. I'd add autumn leaves, blue bossa, and there will never be another you if we went beyond 5
And of course round midnight, but that's in your latest cd lol
Autumn Leaves will be in the new book for sure. The others are also contenders.
Lovely video content! Apologies for the intrusion, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Riddleagan Smart Hands Remedy (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a great one off product for learning piano fast minus the hard work. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my buddy at very last got great success with it.
Excellent video content! Apologies for the intrusion, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Riddleagan Smart Hands Remedy (search on google)? It is an awesome one of a kind product for learning piano fast minus the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my m8 after a lifetime of fighting got excellent results with it.
what in the fuck happened here
Great selection man 👍
Thanks Jonny!
Absolutely right.
Yes sir
@@JacobKollerMusic You Are Awsome 🎆🎆🎆
Out of those arrangements, my favorite were Take the A Train and Moanin’. I would recommend “Things Ain’t What They Used To Be,” “On The Sunny Side Of The Street,” and “Pennies From Heaven.” I really dig this video!
Great tunes. Thanks for the suggestions.
Couldn’t handle the A train
Take Five is the most iconic and catchy I reckon
Yeah. it's hard to argue with you on that. I only didn't put it in because I've already arranged it.
No. You don’t reckon. Because it’s the truth
Take The A Train is just as iconic
I’m playing that for my recital it’s such a good piece
St. Thomas is SPOT ON! That was stuck in my head this morning!
He's got the grippers out!
Moanin’ is defo my fav jazz tune
THAT IS THE MOST SATISFYING AND BEST AUDIO QUALITY I HAVE EVER HEARD OMG!!!!!!!
I'd love to see a fuller, complete arrangement of Moanin'! Also 'My Favourite Things'.
SkyandSun01 kids on the slope?
Both will be in the new book!
Awesome... I really enjoyed learning your Pink Panther arrangement and am making my way through Fly Me To The Moon.
add But Not for Me and Lullaby of Birdland hahaha
then slide in that someday my prince will come
Damn it! now I have all five of them stuck in my head simultaneously.
Haha, underrated comment
The a train was on fire!
Thanks!
I love Moanin'..... such a great opening lick.
カッコイィ~~~しかイイようがありません❣️モーニンとA列車で行こうはぁ昔YAMAHAエレクトーンで弾いていたノォーーー懐かしいです😭
Cantaloupe Island, Autumn leaves and My funny Valentine would be my top three. Love your work!
Man, I Didnt know Link was such a good piano player
You Don't Know What Love Is. It sounds amazing taking one of the A sections and modulate up a 4th from the end of the B section
I love that tune. So dark and haunting.
St. Thomas was so catchy, I listened to it like twice, forgot the name, remembered the melody like weeks later well enough to play it. Had to actually send a recording to my director and ask him what it was😂
So this is *mad arranger* that makes all the scores I play?
Tis a pleasure
I’m gonna learn Moanin and St. Thomas
Take five is one of the most catchy jazz song. You can add Watermelon man or So what. Less known but very catchy Blue March and The Sidewinder, and so more...
Autumn leaves & blue skies!! 😁😁😁
take the a train is such a masterpiece
The fluency of the notes bring out the emotion of the pieces so well! Great playing Jacob :)
Love the selection:
I personally love how catchy Brubeck's 'Take Five' is even with its timing, but these are equally fitting standards
Thank you so much. I was looking for this music name for years!
imagine being almost as good as jacob collier and then you realize its cuz you're jacob koller.
I would argue that one isn't better than the other. They definitely have different skill sets. But I also get that that wasn't the point of your comment. It is a funny coincidence
Jacob Collier is a Multi-Instrumentalist Virtuoso Harmony Micro-Tonal deity from planet XX--AEmixolydianhalfsharp, it's not even a fair comparison.
Underrated comment 😆😆
@@jacobanteau6020 yeah I get it was a joke too.
However, l will still venture to say that jacob collier is indeed better, and they actually aren't particularly different skill sets. Jacob merely has more skills. This isn't to disparage Koller tho

2:53 wonderful Chords!
Hearing St Thomas made me feel like grabbing my sax back on and playing the sick harmonisation of the second part xd
Right on!
Amazing, the great Jacob Koller-Thanks a lot!
Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue"
Yeah incredible piece.
Have you ever heard of a current, Japanese, jazz pianist named Hiromi? She does a 20 minute version of Rhapsody in Blue, but has some other songs tucked in there. It’s pretty fun
So clean and well performed !!
Thank you!
Catchy afffff
Not really, you probably never listened some real jazz
Killer Joe, Freedom Jazz Dance, Take Five, MY Favorite Things, C Jam Blues,, excellent playing by the way
Thanks John!
I hope your youtube channel explodes in popularity to the point that it can be your full time job one day. :P (Though I'm sure there are other things you'd rather be doing)
Your uploads are usually one of the highlights of my week!
That's awesome to hear. Thanks so much for following my channel.
I like sister sadie and moanin' so much.
I also like take the A train, but at medium tempo.
You look cool if you wear glasses 😁
Thank you!
@@JacobKollerMusic You are welcome
I love take the a train so much
Yeah it's a classic for sure.
One of my jazz favs.
I've been playing covers on Twitch...recently ran into Juan Ortiz really enjoy his streams. I mentioned that I simply get so inspired listening to you. Music at age 50 has become such an important part of my life.
I really like this. I sure wish I could play like that. Thank you.
運指がすごい✨🎶手元が映る演奏はとても参考になります。左手の親指の使い方、目から鱗。いつも素敵な演奏ありがとうございます☺️

Body and Soul, Begin the Beguine.
Good tunes for sure.
#4 Lord have mercy. brb gonna go steal this one
Cool!
I'm there with ya.... snapping my fingers!
Thanks sooo much for posting this. I’m so stuck on reading music but to watch you and see the notes and what’s going on is a fantastic teaching tool!
Can we get another video just like this. But more of a extended selection of catchy jazz songs. ! Loved this
The Lady is a Tramp and In the Mood are my "standards" for jazz!
In the mood is definitely one of those melodies that just says "JAZZ."
The third got me crying.
Go baby go! Woohoo ! Definitely Take the A train and Moanin' but they are all great !
Five-Bill Evans, Autumn Leaves, My favorite Things, I Could Write A Book are my favorites
All great tunes.
Fantastic
Thank you!
I've been waiting for your version of Moanin!
I so appreciate how someone can be that good at the piano. Great job.
I love Misty
Great ballad.
We saw/heard Horace Silver play Sister Sadie at the famous "Ronnie's" (Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, London.) Mind you, that was some years ago, of course. Back then there still was a Horace Silver, and Ronnie was still outside on the pavement to welcome us in. (sigh)
That's so awesome. I would have loved to see that.
@@JacobKollerMusic Nah. It was just an ordinary pavement. Nothing special. ;-)
Walking bass in A-Train is incredible man!
Without a song. That's my personal catchy song
I really like your playing its amazing
My favorate jazz is autumn leaves
Yeah that's a great tune. It will be in the new book.
My last two were my favorite (as well as the first one) Great job! I am so excited for the jazz book!!
Cool. It's going to fun to work on it.
I like them all but Take the A Train is arguably the best known. And I like St. Thomas as well. There are others that can be included like standards, for example, All the Things You Are or bebop classics like Au Privave or Night in Tunisia. Or maybe Monk's Round Midnight. That was fun to listen to.
Thanks for the great suggestions. Those are all great tunes.
Cantaloupe island!!
Strasbourg/St. Denis is my #1
Loved it
excellent ending
Nice Playing Jacob Collier!
Moanin’ and “A” Train . for sure. great vid mate
Thank you!
I love the reharm you did on the Dm section of Canteloupe Island!
Thanks.
Tea for Two!
I Love that tune.
@@JacobKollerMusic Me too. I prefer the original/the jazz version
I was listening to this and my cat came over. It seems I need to build a playlist of catchy jazz now..
Moanin is so cool
St. thomas was WOW i'll definitely buy the sheet if it finally comes out!

Your piano playing is a blessing to my ears man 👏
*Your

Amazing
St. Thomas just got me
I hope moanin' gonna be in the new book !!
It seems very likely based on the polling.
More, more, more, WE LOVE IT! :D
I think third one is the best!
Cool. Thanks for voting!
I would love to hear a full length cover of moanin' by you!
It should make it in the new book.
Moanin, night Train, watermelon man, tommy Dorsey’s blues ...cast your fate to the wind
All great tunes.
I love how happy u look when u play the piano haha
1 and 4!!!😃
Right on!
A really well chosen set of tunes beautifully played.
idk how i out of nowhere hummed sister sadie kind of tune without hearing the song ever before that
4 that's my favourite
Cool.
Love your shoes dude
What shoes?
I definitely agree with monin, st Thomas and A train
Brilliant sir...
Thank you!
Love your piano grooves! I might add Bluesette and Mercy, Mercy, Mercy, to your list. And then there's also... Aw, hell. So many tunes, so little time. By the way, your piano is tuned nicely.
Thank you. Thanks for the cool suggestions. Yeah there are so many great tunes it's hard to narrow it down.
This is what Id expect when searching for jazz songs.
I was excited when I saw Moanin' only to find out it wasn't Charles Mingus's Moanin'
damn man, you really add value to the music !!
Thank you!
awesome
Thank you!
Spain is catchy too~
For sure. It will be in the new book.
@@JacobKollerMusic Awesome~
I love your dynamics.
It s very good
Thank you so much!
Thank you!
Moanin’ and a train for sure!

Those appear to be the winners based on the early voting.
@@JacobKollerMusic when are the winners going to be announced?

MilesDavis's Solar!! I love your arranging style
Yeah Solar is a classic for sure. Fun to play on too.
