      Maybe it's the competition - YT "influencers" and nDoF equipment makers.

    SRG need some T-shirts and other merch with "So...Lets Get To It" on them.
    Wonder if Barry would do a comparison between the motion platforms and have some people give their opinions, feedback and conclusions on the various systems.

    Shout out to the Pearl biking gloves. I'm currently using some padless Gore fingerless bike gloves. Work like a dream. Thanks for these in-depth reviews, Barry. They really help me feel more comfortable when I throw money at sim racing products.

    Someone actually waits for SRG to post a new video so that he can dislike it. The most informational and professional sim gear reviewer out there, for what reason? lol

      the funny part is, when it comes to algorythm they get the opposite of what they want. What youtube really cares about is engagement/interaction. The only thing that "hurts" the youtuber is doing nothing.

    I think I want to buy this motion system over the DBox due to this review and the price. The manufacturer has free shipping for "SRG Free Shipping Sale" until October 31st. So I guess it is time to pony up and get a motion system. At $5k it is not a bad price.

    The latency when running stadium trucks is quite significant to the point that the motion does not match up with what’s on screen a lot of the time. This also has to do with the maximum speed of the system. I think this should have been highlighted in the conclusion.

    • @middleagemoto
      @middleagemoto 3 года назад +1

      Yeah nobody talk about latency in these reviews. I'm considering a 3dof reality system, but I'm worried about latency.

    I like that inside there are haptic motors but it doesn't hold a candle to the qubic System that travels at twice the speed 400 mm/s

    Hello Barry. Could you please tell us what the major differences are with the similarly-spec'd and -priced PT-Actuators? (detail, reactivity, noise) Thanks.

    I have a question, if the power goes out, say an electrical power outage, what happens to the actuators? Do they just come crashing down? Also does this motion system from Motion House have an emergency stop control? Thanks

    Wow that box is massive. Real shame they cheaped out and didn't include the transformer inside.
    Edit: sloppy use of rj45 cables. Wonder why they used decided to use couplers?

    • @ryanmalin
      @ryanmalin 3 года назад +1

      Agreed

    • @ryanmalin
      @ryanmalin 3 года назад +2

      I’ve been crimping CAT5 cables since I was 11 years old! NO EXCUSES! If you’re a professional and you haven’t crimped your own network cables yet, take the dive! It’s not as hard as you think. And then you don’t need to use sloppy couplings like in this setup. That’s my only real critique.

    What do you race in your rig?
    You have very high end equipment and I am just curious if you race in any leagues or if you just do online random races

  • @b3artn47

    Do they make a motion cockpit for heavier guys? All these ive seen are for dudes around 200-270lbs.

  • @Drifter982
    @Drifter982 3 года назад +1

    can you run dirt latemodels with it?

  • @Mikey6048
    @Mikey6048 3 года назад

    But why the RJ45 extension blocks? Why not make single run cables? I understand saving money by using on hand same length cables being used inside. But to me those blocks are just more points of possible communication failure down the road.

      PT Actuator lets you use Sim-Tools and comes with a Thanos Controller. That could be an advantage. I do like the rubber feet on these actuators though..
