I have had the fortune of talking to him on multiple episodes that we did on TRS. In this episode, we talked about world history and the great lives of Alexander the Great & Genghis Khan. We discussed why everyone should learn history, the great man theory, the life of Alexander, ancient Persia, ancient India, the life of Genghis Khan, the connection between the Mughals and Mongols, and much more. If you’re interested in history, this is the episode for you because we have discussed every possible historical fact about the two fiercest leaders in history. I got one question , sir said that in Persia attack , Alexander defeated an army which consist of elephants , but when we see Indian tv episodes of the same then elephants are depicted as new to be used in war to Alexander , so what can be the take on it ?
Alexander was a military genius but he wasn't a capable king, too much drunk with thought of glory and conquests. He didn't know consolidation and thats why his empire was snatched by his Generals. Seleucus was the most talented of them, a very cunning man, extremely cunning, he saved himself from getting killed by Chandragupta by surrendering his daughter. That man could to anything to become a king. Master of cunningness. He was also a very loving father to his children and wives.
Sir please ask him for books to learn world history as well as Indian History....from which books he started his great journey of being that much knowledgeable man in the subject like history.
This is fascinating I’m Romani gypsy my ancestors from many generations ago past down knowledge said we came to Greece from are unknown homeland with Alexander, the great army we call are selfs amongst our people Rama we come from the clan tribe kalderash kastrya we’ were known amongst are selfs , has kings and Warriors
I really really enjoyed this podcast , as a student of history this just opened a new perception to me.... Thank you sir and waiting for many upcoming history podcast Thank you
Nice podcast and very informative 👍 it would be much better if AC explained the empires with a map and pen on tablet or ipad and it was live shown while he's talking about it. hope this suggestion reaches you
We had Anglophile coolies who prescribed how history is taught in India. No reference to the great sea faring empires from the South India - Cholas and Orissa who spread their influence along the South East Asia and as far as China. Instrumental in the great Cambodian civilization and the Angkor Wat empire.
Alexander may have been great according to western standards. But according to Indian standards, he is average, given how truly great people that have been born here. We should not refer him to Alexander "the great" and instead call, for example, Chandragupta the Great.
Great doesn't mean moral vise correct, it means Musculaniity or you said power to obtained a big land or forming big nation. Even we called asoka the great , but what he did in kalinga. 😅 They are great in terms power war n other things, at that time even small king did this type of things. Unlike this time 😅😅

Awesome to learn world history while relating the time span with history of Bharat. An episode about evolution of human beings in Africa parallel to India.
I belive there is plenty African/Indian connection lost in history. A few knowledgeable person hint at this.
@@waynewhite2314The Indian median IQ is 77, similar to Sub-Saharan Africans.
I'm done with the first " Ahhhhhhh " 😂

Nice episode Ranveer! Please try to make an episode on the Cholas’ and the Pallavas’ conquest of the southeast Asia with AC sir. It would be an instant hit and would branch out into multiple tangents that would keep people like me hooked to the topic.
All the best to both of you! ❤
One of my favourite mongolian song : The HU - Yuve Yuve Yu
After watching AC sir's podcast I feel very happy and grateful that I have got a chance to know more about history from a different perspective that the typical textbooks of school and colleges provide to us... thank u RA bro and sir...❤
Forget everything… Avijit Chavda sir is back and this podcast is going to be viral again 😊😊❤️❤️❤️❤️
Finally someone praised chengis khan in real sense rather than glorifying all the henious act of Alexander.
Absolutely loved the conversation, would love to watch such history related podcasts.
And as always AC sir rocks the TRS.💯💯

Most awaited guest!
Request u to do more world history based podcasts. Absolutely loved this one!!
I got one question , sir said that in Persia attack , Alexander defeated an army which consist of elephants , but when we see Indian tv episodes of the same then elephants are depicted as new to be used in war to Alexander , so what can be the take on it ?
How do you store such deep knowledge from this great intellectuals.
Another banger episode by AC. Always great to watch you sir.
Honestly kne of the best podcast i have heard in a while.
The amount of knowledge this man has is so so mesmerizing.
Loved it! Keep up the great work!
Nobody believes that about gypsies in Europe. In India also they have the reputation for theft and other crimes.
This was one of the best episode ive seen so far from TRS...pls give us more history podcast ..like this Ranveer ... I love history

Please do a podcast about julia ceasar with AC sir
I don't understand why people call Aleksandra "The Great" 😂😂😂 please stop praising him as great
Oh idk he basically took over almost the whole known world.. but that’s nothing lol
Bro why you getting pain in ur ass? if someone is calling him that
@@usmankhalid4737because it is taught in schools and its wrong

So Greece, Persia, Few Arab Countries is the entire world. I guess😂
Lol 😂
Logic++
@@Dru517 So calling a mediocre person as mediocre is now hating them? You may not have any standards whatsoever, but I do.
@@saiputcha1730 Indians finding their own happiness 😂
Great doesn't mean moral vise correct, it means Musculaniity or you said power to obtained a big land or forming big nation. Even we called asoka the great , but what he did in kalinga. 😅
They are great in terms power war n other things, at that time even small king did this type of things. Unlike this time 😅😅
