What he said about learning the balanced history which includes the good and the bad lessons from our history is the perfect intention that modern Indians should have. This is my goal as well. Sir, there is a festival called Bali Jatra (voyage to Bali) celebrated in Cuttack (Odisha). Sir it is believed that some 2k-4k years back in time merchants from Odisha used to go to Bali to sell there produce. It is believed that those people had a well established navy at that time.
Kalinga as it was known at that time had the best naval fleet in the entire country. Everyone wanted to capture kalinga because of that but No one could defeat it. Such brave warriors that even bindusara and chanakya failed twice. That was the reason why ashoka wanted to defeat kalinga since it was his goal since birth. But for that he had to first get more that 90% of the country under the mauryan empire. Only then was he able to win kalinga

I really appreciate your work, I want to add a suggestion that when you are doing this hindi podcast make sure that the language used in it is totally hindi and I can understand that some of your guests cannot make the exact transition while they are speaking but you just make sure that the words they are saying you give a little more explanation of that in hindi so that this whole conversation becomes meaningful and understandable for everyone since sometime we want to share it with our partners or someone who doesn't understand English language. Thanks for making this great effort and we have a lot more to do in future 🙂

Everyone knows about our origin. That we are all homo sapiens. But these kind of episodes just create a sense of fake pride and hatred among many people since it creates an emotional picture of the world.

Sir, there is a festival called Bali Jatra (voyage to Bali) celebrated in Cuttack (Odisha). Sir it is believed that some 2k-4k years back in time merchants from Odisha used to go to Bali to sell there produce. It is believed that those people had a well established navy at that time.
Kalinga as it was known at that time had the best naval fleet in the entire country. Everyone wanted to capture kalinga because of that but No one could defeat it. Such brave warriors that even bindusara and chanakya failed twice. That was the reason why ashoka wanted to defeat kalinga since it was his goal since birth. But for that he had to first get more that 90% of the country under the mauryan empire. Only then was he able to win kalinga

Ranveer you are doing a great job. I really appreciate your work, I want to add a suggestion that when you are doing this hindi podcast make sure that the language used in it is totally hindi and I can understand that some of your guests cannot make the exact transition while they are speaking but you just make sure that the words they are saying you give a little more explanation of that in hindi so that this whole conversation becomes meaningful and understandable for everyone since sometime we want to share it with our partners or someone who doesn't understand English language. Thanks for making this great effort and we have a lot more to do in future 🙂

It is the land of Narakasur who had built Kamakhya temple in Neelachal pahar and his son Bhagadutta fought from kaurav side on Kurukshetra war. Bhim and Hidimba's son Ghatotkach was a king of Dimapur which is the capital of Nagaland, Arjun came here n merried the Manipur princess Chitrangada and their son Babruvahan later defeated his father n killed him unknowingly. So the history of North East is too vast n old
