      Yes and no. Because what they did paved the way for the next generation. AI made dribbling cool and we get dudes like Kyrie and Steph with killer handles. Even the second and third level guys have handles now. Would White Chocolate be White Chocolate if AI wasnt AI?
      I get nostalgic but the game is better today because of them, so in a way I get to watch the greats live on

      Can't say definitely over the 80's, when Magic and Bird saved the NBA... and the NBA had extreme talent. But me personally I can agree since I grew up watching Kobe, Shaq, AI, Carter, TMAC, Yao, Garnett, CP3, Dwade and much more. Miss those guys.

      Everybody knew Kobe would be great at anything he tried to do. He was an extremely self motivated and highly competitive man. We was never satisfied, so it's natural that he would do great things wherever he went.
      In heaven, he's rebuilding with basketball courts and a lot of great things. You'll see.

    I love a I. Man he has so much heart. He was very passionate about winning. It's sad to know the body fades on pros one day and that their game is molded by their ability. He had a great career and you now see Andre Igoudala success by just playing with A I. Golden States general. And Draymond green Defense.

    Being a celtics fan Pierce + Pistol Pete were all my time favorite players, along with Earl Manigault. But I am not surprised that alot of folks have AI as one of (If not their favorite players right up) the list. Imo, AI and T-Mac were the two most influential players during that era of basketball.

Iverson changed the culture of the game on AND off court. He was so influential that David Stern implemented a dress code just because of Iverson lol.       That's right! No one gave him as much problems as Ty Lue did! They looked like twins in those games! That was about the best defense anyone has ever been able to play on him. You can't stop him, but Lue sure frustrated him and slowed him down. That is all the Lakers needed for someone to do.
