Tmac, people still sleep on how good he was. Kobe saying that, is proof enough. Real recognizes real.
Yup nobody whose thrash wins back to back scoring titles
Nobody who is*.
Too bad he never managed to put it all together and take it all the way. That's the real shame in his career. He had the tools to be great, but never could do it.

Erik Griffith kobe is like Lil Wayne James harden is like quavo
Erik Griffith I definitely agree. Kobe explained that MJ did not waste a single dribble, I believe Kobe didn’t waste a single word in this interview. It goes along with your comment as well, there are only a few hand picked players that can express themselves in such a way that is genuine and shows excellence, humbleness, and that has a fine essence
Erik Griffith Amen to that
Kobe's combo of talent, drive, intelligence and creativity was a rare combo. There will never be another.
Who’s here after the Lakers won the 2020 championship? This was for you and Gianna!

Kobe really respect T-mac, 7-all star, 2 scoring champ, 13 pts in 35 seconds, etc. I would say Tracy McGrady is one of the most underrated player in NBA history.
Leon Hong not really. He was huge back in the day but everyone and himself agreed he slacked on defense and he also would just try to get scoring titles and not win when he believed his team lacked the personal to compete for a championship. He didn’t have the drive of Kobe or Lebron to carry a bunch of bums deep into the playoffs.

You can't say he would never win a championship, he wasn't healthy and had a shorter career because of it. Also, if he got a healthy grant hill and Tim Duncan, they probably would've have one at least one championship.

I think what makes Kobe the greatest is literally that mindset and mentality. Many nba player has similar athleticism, better or worse. But what makes Kobe stands out is really his mamba mentality and intensity of doing whatever it takes to win the game and becoming the greatest attitude.
U and others need to re train your brain and thinking being a person whos gonna take a force shot aka low percentage bad shot to win a game is the Right MINDSET AMD MENTALITY. MAGIC smiled, kobe snarled, Duncan showed no emotion. U trying to tell me kobe wanted it more? Stop it
The term Mamba Mentality is overrated to me because there were many highly competitive players before him that lived, slept and breathed basketball. He got that mentality from MJ who got it from David Thompson.

Look at Kobes trying to explain T-Macs capabilities, its funny how one of the goats who actually played against McGrady speaks so highly of him yet internet warriors call him overrated 😂 For a while Kobe and TMac were dominating the 2 guard.
Tracy McGrady was at one point maybe the best player in the NBA. He is overshadowed because of lack of team success and longevity, but his prime was absolutely dominance.
That's why team success should be separate from a player's success. 2 different things! One man doesn't win alone, no matter how much they do on the floor. It's a team game!
Thats why I believe McGrady deserved his HOF ring. He said himself, that ring was his championship 😟
