Great video, very direct and helpful. FYI - I could be wrong, but I believe only the USB-C is for charging the hub (the port that says "In"), whereas the regular USB port is for charging some other device (the port that says "Out"). You can use the hub as a power bank to charge phones, the controller, etc I believe
Yes you are right the USB-C is for charging in the USB Allows you do use the battery pack as a power source for charging other devices good tip thanks for watching
Thanks so much for doing this little video. It is silly that the manufacturer doesn’t put this basic info in the quick start guide. The full instruction pdf doesn’t even list battery charging in the index. They need to hire you as a customer instructional consultant! 👍
Thanks I appreciate those kind words. I try to be thorough because I think a lot of times instructions that you get with these things are lacking in detail. Thanks for watching.
@@TomLeeman Thanks Tom, while watching your video I was charging the controller, then the batteries. A long process, but finally all lights went green and stopped blinking. Hopefully today I'll get my first try at flying.
Tom, I have a question?! I bought batteries that aren’t DJI manufactured. They’re some knock of brand, I am having a bit of trouble because the non DJI batteries when in there keep lighting up 1 dot even though they are charged 75%. Are your batteries DJI certified or are a ‘non DJI brand’ thanks!
Here is a video I made up the case and it has the manufacturer‘s name Lekufee Compact Portable Waterproof Hard Case for DJI Mini 2 Drone ruclips.net/video/OgcLehWEofo/видео.html
Know what you just plug the batteries in when you want to charge it but you can use the hub as a source of energy to charge your phone or I think even the controller
I have two batteries in the charger only one is charging, if I remove that one the other one charges. Any clue? I thought the charger should charge all at the same time?
It should charge both of them I have three batteries and it charges all of them I’m not sure if you need to have three batteries to charge them all at once I will have to research that good luck thanks for watching
looking at your reaction at 1:45 about batteries come from factory almost fully charge! I am pretty certain you have no idea about how Lipo work at all!!
Pretty lame that it only charges one at a time smh, i bought a 13 dollar energizer rechargeable battery charger n they had the right idea by charging all the batteries at once

Thanks Dude !!
You’re welcome thanks for watching
good video,
Thank you Tom!!
You are welcome!
The USB port on the side (the one that's not USB C) is actually an OUT port, not in, FYI.
Thanks yes that is true and you can charge your phone there
Brilliant video mate. Pretty much confirmed what i was doing but i wanted to make sure what i was doing was correct.
Great to hear. Thanks for watching. Enjoy the drone.
@TomLeeman I was hoping to take it out today but the winds picked right up. Thanks again
This was good. When the batteries and controller are fully charged, do all green lights stop blinking?
Once it’s fully charged you’ll see them all filled and good luck thanks for watching

I bought it right on Amazon I have a video on it check it out thanks for watching
Thanks for the video mate. Was lost for a bit as how to charge my batteries, but sorted now thanks to you.

Qué tiempo tardan en cargar las baterías
I leave mine plugged in overnight

Do I need to charge the hub?

They can go out to about 20 kn, but it’s dangerous we could lose it
You can store them backwards , its a little harder but you can keep them all together
Good tip

I found that in fact the batteries did all charge, just the lights didn’t all flash.
@@TomLeeman - they charge sequentially, one at a time
Same but when i charged its ok
@@yellowkayak7038but should i removed the fully charged battery first? I’m kind of scared if i leave it there cuz maybe it’ll be overcharged.

You’re right about that
Why are my charging lights moving very fast,,a lot faster than yours in the video?
That’s a good question I’ll have to research it. Maybe it’s the newer one that you have
Don't you need a dji charger though? Because some have different amps and volts.
I just charge it right through my USB part that I’ve got plugged into one 10 works good thanks for watching
@@TomLeeman yeah no problem I actually only got it yesterday and used it today

That Hubble hold three batteries
