I'm glad to see you are back. I was wondering what happened to you. Congratulations on the new home and shop. I am looking forward to seeing your future videos.
Love your videos and projects (subscribed). As a content creator who also solo films and edits, I really appreciate the effort. I know how much time and work it takes in the background.👍
Great to have you back on RUclips. I enjoy your videos every time. I was able to get the fuel system sorted out on my cj2a and have been enjoying it again. It took longer than it should have, but my family and I can enjoy it before winter hits here in Manitoba Canada. Great video as always.
So good to see your back. We’ve been waiting. Show us your shop. You made my back hurt lifting that tranny. I put a SM465 into my 67 CJ5 V6. Used Advanced Adapter main shaft and kit. Then added their overdrive to my stock Dana 18. No way could I ever lift that package, so I used 3 turnbuckles and short chains hooked to an engine hoist. When I got close, just adjusted the turnbuckles and in she went. I’d send some pictures if you want. Good to have you back.
Hey there kid, man I was beginning to think that you got lost some place, have seen any new videos from you all summer. Glad to hear things are going well for you. I don't really think that it always makes much of a difference on the throw out bearing specs for clearance. What is going to matter the most is having a fair amount of free play in the top travel of the clutch pedal once everything is completely assembled, that way the clutch doesn't slip and burn out on you. Don't get me wrong you do want some clearance for bearing travel and also so you can do clutch adjustments in the future when needed. I would say that the best thing is to have enough space left on the adjustment and threads so you are able to get what you need
I used a front driveshaft yoke from a comanchee its just like the original but longer it worked out perfect. But you have a machine shop friend so thatll probably be easier than finding one. You really didnt need to be so particular about the throw out bearing a big gap is ok you can just take it up with the adjustment.
That’s a good tip! I appreciate you commenting on the throw out bearing I went back and forth if it really mattered I just knew right now is the easiest time to fix it. Live and learn. Thanks!
Coming along nicely. Custom clutch linkage can be a hassle, I still don't have mine working quite right. Looks like you are on the right track with yours though. Glad to see you back!

Changing things from stock for sure comes with a lot of headache but I can’t say everything jeep did from the factory was the best idea! Thanks for watching!

It is the factory pilot bushing pressed into the flywheel. Thanks!
When you get the union for the clutch cable, let us know where you got it. I need one for my e-brake cable to extend it.
Try McMaster Carr. Jason uses them a lot. So do I.
@@mikep9032 thanks. I appreciate that.
Should be able to find a Union in standard threads size for allthread connectors.
Will do!
@@mikep9032 who is Jason?

As much of that stuff as you do you need a lathe and a mill. Sure would come in handy...

Looks good, the old trans and transfer case. If you want to sell it let me know
Will do!
Let me know, I’m rebuilding 2 Willy’s jerps
Hi,what type of starter do you put??
It’s a 1977 Toyota Landcruiser starter! You have to modify the holes a little and it bolts right up!
