The thing about Miitopia's Makeup system was that a lot of people already liked making Miis of non-human characters, and said feature made it way easier to pull that look off. I also think there should be less regional differences across each version so I don't find myself feeling locked out of content.
Having tomodachi life take place on a city and having schools and malls is such a amazing idea! it would be a really cool idea if the city grows like how animal crossing's new horizon lets you customize stuff but also having to work for it kinda (except no crafting PLEASE)
I think it would be nice if Tomodachi Life 2 (if it ever comes out) had multiple save files. I've reset my game at least 5 times now, and I both regret it and don't regret it. It would be nice if we could have multiple save files so that if we want to restart, we don't have to reset everything, and can switch between save files at any time
Personally I like the Miitopia Make-up system, but I think a good middle ground could be having you start with the default Mii Maker but having a Beauty Salon unlock at some point which would give you more wig and make up options
I honestly like the charm of regular Mii’s. Gives you a good limitation that still lets you be creative, but not too complex (like for people who don’t know how the miitopia make up works) like, I don’t know how to use the make up either! I think there shouldn’t be (imo)
I HEAVILY disagree with improving the voices, personally I find the iconic (though at times scary) voices from the original to be a big part of the charm
Okay so here's one thing I'd also like, AN ACTUAL INGAME CONNECTION BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR Mii. Imagine this, you the player, guide your Mii to help with the troubles that the others Mii's have. While you can help guide your own Mii, the Mii can and will eventually make mistakes and go against your wishes both on purpose and by accident. This keeps the nature of being a "more powerful figure that nudges people along" while still having personal connections with Miis. AND imagine your Mii starts off incredibly nervous to go and talk and make their first friend but you're there to help them. To me, that'd be a more fun experience.
I usually base my Miis off of my OCs and one thing that always bugged me was not having hair and bangs be separate! I know that's a Mii maker thing in general but Miitopia added this so I'd really want it in the next Tomodachi life! Also they need more hair that covers eyes, shaved sides, separate clothing pieces like in Miitomo, and there's a slim chance of it but room/ apartment customization even if it's just a few items!
One RUclipsr suggested the idea of miis having jobs, an idea inspired by the job tickets in Tomodachi Collection which is something I would also like to see. I think it would be fun to include jobs into a miis regular routine instead of just part time jobs.
It would be nice to see children miis go to school and see their situation. Like if they have friends, secrets, bullies, and struggles they have. I feel like we don’t get enough of that. They go from baby to teenager, fast. Nor from parent side. It doesn’t have to be inappropriate, just silly adult situations that would be nice to see. Miis could continue to take a little college to open more options in the game, but it would be a challenge to complete so your town can become successful
Here’s an idea I have: holding more mii’s. I know 100 miis is a ton but with the new miitopia makeup system being added into the game I think the amount of miis you could want would be limitless! Also you could have 200 miis for miitopia if I’m not wrong
The clothing system from miitomo would be perfect, more customisation while keeping the retro mii look, and they already have half of their clothing store finished already, because like, just rip all the clothes from miitomo
Movies is such a good idea. I love the miitopia makeup so much and if they took that away for this game id be genuinely upset. But the wigs were always weird to me because they dont match the mii maker hair at all. I want the wigs to have the same art style as the default mii maker hair.
Combining Miitopia and TomoLife into one would be perfect. I would also like to see it turned into a 3D action/adventure game like Mario Odyssey where you can control your character whenever you like, and when you're done with the tasks/quests/missions you can exit the 3D mode and let the Mii go back to sim mode and the camera would zoom out like Animal Crossing.

I won't lie I have over 100 hours clocked in the miitopia demo, yes DEMO, from making miis. I never even started the actual game I just make miis cos it fills the gap that tomodachi life left behind so I'm banking on the mii maker not only being pretty much the same (with improvements of course) but I'm also banking on being able to transfer the 50 odd miis I've spent over 100 hours making. And when I say banking what I mean is that if I can't transfer my miitopia miis into tomodachi life 2, I'll throw my switch so hard against a wall it'll obliterate into a fine powder. But it'll all have been worth if we get fun features like the ones in this vid :')

With how much people enjoyed the feature in miitopia, I can see where you’re coming from. I wouldn’t be surprised if Nintendo did bring it back because of all the demand for it! However i think id only use it for like 2 or 3 miis on my save file 😭
Here’s some things I wanted to mention and what they should add: 1. Add adoption centers for pets and children so you don’t have to give a pet to your mii or have your mii have a baby. 2. Add some miis walking around the city/neighborhood 3. Add a bridge in apartments so we know where your miis are going 4. Add happiness to your city 5. Add some police, fire, medical, education, etc as full routine jobs instead of part time jobs. 6. The interesting part is, related to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, add go karts 7. Control your miis by walking/running. 8. Some mini games with references to Nintendo's games 9. Related to The Sims 4, add build mode to build a city or customize a Mii's dorm room. 10. Add driving in Miis and add roads. 11. Related to amusement parks, add water parks 12. Speaking of suggestion 9, add build mode in amusement parks/water parks. 13. Sorry for leaving such a negative comment, but this just happen to be the third time I watch a Tomodachi Life/Mii content video telling me that we shouldn't bring back the Miitopia's Makeup System and saying something like "they no longer look like Miis" and honestly that makes me extremelly furstrated to hear, so I want to have my thoughts on the matter written someplace. Like why do people are so against it? For years I always wanted them to bring more none symmetrical options besides the one single Mole, but the make up system not only gave me all that I ever wanted, but it gave me a whole of a lot more than I thought Nintendo would ever give us, yet they did. Like even ignoring the ability of being able to make a Mii look as close as possible to there source material character or making Miis a lot unhumans than before, which is something I love, it finally aloud us to create so many types of faces that weren't possible to do with Miis as they were. We can give more than one more or beauty mark, pimples, scars, chipped eyebrows, piercings even, we can make Miis have heteorchromatic eyes, or vertigo skin faces, or give them face pantings or tatoos from varius cultural traditions like Bindis, polinisian face tatoos, Amazonic tribe face painting, Corpse Paints and So much more. Like, is not like it is replacing the old Mii's faces, it's literally building from the old system that we know and Love. I'm sure that even with the Miitopia's Make-up options existing people still and will create more tradicional Mii faces, either because they want to, or because they are using an older classical Mii or because they don't have the desire or skills to use it. Also, sorry, but saying that it takes no creativity to use the Make-up systems in my experience is completly untrue. Even the most crazy unhuman Miis you have to make a lot of effort and outside of the box thinking. The Number of objects you can place run out fast and trying to make them work with an idea or a type of face you are making are all challagens of various magnitudes. Sorry, I don't want to give the impression that I thought the video was bad. surprisingly there are some things you said that I been wanting for years that nobody else mentions, like having more Wii Party like minigames and a Board mode, I just had this thoughts holding in.
I'm not against the idea of playing with people online, but I'd like if they kept most of the game single player. I think there was a certain charm back in the day when you'd spend hours entertaining yourself with just you miis with funny things they'd say and do, but an online section with maybe a few of your miis competing in minigames and such would be so cool. Maybe they could connect with miis from other peoples saves and occasionally when you'd visit your mii it brings up that persons mii and they could hang out or do something together like the cafe or walks on the beach from the last game. I think the game will need more things to keep people engaged so I love the movie idea, maybe it could be similar to the miitomo photo thing (although considering thats the main reason why miitomo shut down I don't know if nintendo would make it something you could upload or comment on..) I agree with the miitopia customisation becuz yeah it doesn't really give that same feeling of miis, but I think they definitely need to up their customisation options in regards to body shapes, hair, eyes, etc - also with same sex couples..cmon nintendo its 2024 😂 But yeah great video! I think it highlights a lot of the reasons why people got bored/moved on from tomodachi life. 2025 🙏 new year, new tomodachi life 🙏🙏
What if you had the ability to drag and drop the buildings to different locations of the island(or city) so that way it can make it have a new look, you can also have the ability to buy props to place around your island.
I have an idea!!! So what if there was a new event that takes place at the amusement park where we can actually Ride the roller coaster with the Mii!! Another thing is maybe a cooking Minigame could happen at the Cafe if you have the flying pan tool, wheee you can take the Miis others and make them food for more money (playable at anytime of the day) Also LGBT+ Relationships! (This could be an option at the settings because not everyone supports LGBT relationships so you have the choice to allow them or disable them) Also since the Mii maker already has custom hair colors they could get rid of the Hair Color Spray and replace it with a Bicycle! (It’s just like the skateboard item you can sometimes see your Mii riding around the island with it)
Okay I hope that for this month's Nintendo Direct I hope Nintendo and Grezzo are already done finishing the port or sequel for Tomodachi Life to come to switch and not Switch 2 because I don't want to pay that much money for a new console and the game so I hope it comes to Switch and not Switch 2! we don't need AI voices in tomodachi life. i agree with you on everything else in this video except for that. the synthesized voices in tomodachi life are part of the charm and replacing them with AI voices would make a lot of people mad, plus AI voices are in a legal gray area anyway. nintendo would be more likely to hire voice actors to voice the miis than use AI voices
While i disagree with your point, I can totally see where youre coming from. I think there should at least be an improvement on the voices, and that there should be an option to toggle whether you want to original or new voices.
I really want a feature where Mii's proposing to each other is automatic like you don't have to time it (mostly because people like myself have poor timing) it would be cool to see a rejection or acceptance to a proposal feature that is all based on how Mii's relationship is with their significant other
It also could’ve been better with the bridge because it’s really hard how miis teleport to the other island the ones with the news, the amusement park and the cafe, and it could’ve been better with ecology, happiness, police, fire, medic, and education, it’s really important for ur island
I think in terms of setting, you should be able to select what style of settlement you want, you could select the basic island for a more familiar location, or you could choose the city option or the fantasy village option, and each would have their own unique events and things you can do! “But wouldn’t that lock certain features forever” I hear you ask? Well shut up I was getting to that, as you make more miis you can choose to send them off to live in the other locations, or maybe one of the “problems” is that they want to move! The first person to move to a new location is always random, but after the first person moves you can make any of your other miis move there as well by telling them to, miis are more likely to want to move if they interact with one of your friends miis who live in a location that’s different to theirs or if they feature in a minigame started by your friend that is exclusive to that settlement type Also the fantasy village one HAS to reference miitopia or at least have a function where if it detects the save data you get to have an adventurers guild that lets you import miis from Miitopia, the first time you do this you also unlock jobs for the rest of the miis and they might show up in your miitopia games with quests But Nintendo will never do this because they’re COWARDS BUT ALSO IT WOULD MAKE SENSE FOR THEM TO DO THESE IDEAS AND ITS LIKELY THEY ALREADY THOUGHT OF THEM, SO THERE WOULD BE NO ISSUE IF THEY WERE TO MAKE A NEW TOMODACHI LIFE GAME WITH THESE FEATURES

loved this video idea! about the whole inclusion thing, I think it would be best like alota modern avatar makers like meta just to scrap the gender choice entirely, and just make voices, outfits and attraction all separately personalised just for the sake of simplicity. Another type of Mii game I absolutely want is at least a sequel to Miitopia and call it "Miitropolis". (Mii + Metropolis) As for Miis in general, I love Miis because they open all kinds of possibilities for creativity. I'm just not one of those who create Miis based on pop-culture or people's weird desire for memes. I like using Miis for originality. And speaking of creativity, I really want a Mii game where your Miis can be used to make stories from scratch. And it would involve the voices from Tomodachi Life / Miitomo if not improved. As for Tomodachi Life, I also want the clothes to be sold in pieces like in Miitomo. But they could be sold in bundles depending on the style or suitability. Also, why not allow a Mii couple have twins, triplets, or quadruplet babies? I also wanna be able to have the ability to take pictures as freely as you could with Miifoto in Miitomo. And last thing for clothing, the Nintendo character costumes like in Miitopia should be received by scanning in an amiibo figure. So much to want for either a sequel or an HD remake for "Tomodachi Life".
Biggest quality of life enhancement would be a proper family system besides just "relation to real you". One of the biggest issues with Tomodachi is that there was unfortunately a LOT of incest going on because you couldn't manually set two Miis unrelated to you as siblings or parent/child without using a save editor, and I think this issue NEEDS to be addressed cause it's just weird and gross this oversight wasn't dealt with (something something Japanese media and incest ig). Another would be having less regional differences so I don't feel like I get locked out of content. I sort of prefer the EU version over the US release, for instance.
If they do make a sequel to tomodachi life i not only hope they give us a typable pronouns option and allow for queer relationships. Like we just choose a body type, then under the name just add pronouns instead of assuming based on body type chosen😅 we can already cuztomize their voice in the og games, let me customize how i adress my miis😭 i doubt it would interfere with anything since it didnt change anything in the og when i made my gay miis on the 3ds. I hope theyll add mkre loactions and mnigames with them, and more prizes to give miis that reflect the era we live in now. Maybe there can be a library with a craft event were you can fold origami figures you coukd sell to the pawn shop or something, or give to miis for them to give their crush a gift. Maybe a market that comes on certain days of the week where you can buy index items you havent found yet at the park. Maybe a holiday system like animal crossing, where the miis all spend their day at the park or wherever they want to go since theyre usually at home. Maybe a perminent pet option rather than rentals where you can pick their breeds. Maybe add a farm they go to for horse rides, gardening, and a baby animal event thats a photoshoot of miis with baby animals. Maybe an aquarium thats in the ocean like marine centers where theres a giant glass wall that shows fish swimming near the shorelines, an event can be watching a whale come near the glass or something. I would love to see a tomodachi life 2 for the switch✨️
Would be kinda sick if you could choose the percentage mii's liked genders. So if you 100% liked girls 0% liked boys and you were a boy that we be a preset "straight". There should be presets for mii's like gay (0% girls 100% boys) bi (50% girls 50% boys) and lesbian (100% girls 0% boys) or you can set it to custom like (75% girls 25% boys). However i think mii's sexualities should be done when you make them not mid-game like "i feel gay" as it could put ideas into kids and confuse them. Btw im not gay we just don't want people getting upset lol

1. Add adoption centers for pets and children so you don’t have to give a pet to your mii or have your mii have a baby.
2. Add some miis walking around the city/neighborhood
3. Add a bridge in apartments so we know where your miis are going
4. Add happiness to your city
5. Add some police, fire, medical, education, etc as full routine jobs instead of part time jobs.
6. The interesting part is, related to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, add go karts
7. Control your miis by walking/running.
8. Some mini games with references to Nintendo's games
9. Related to The Sims 4, add build mode to build a city or customize a Mii's dorm room.
10. Add driving in Miis and add roads.
11. Related to amusement parks, add water parks
12. Speaking of suggestion 9, add build mode in amusement parks/water parks.

Okay... Sorry for leaving such a negative comment, but this just happen to be the third time I watch a Tomodachi Life/Mii content video telling me that we shouldn't bring back the Miitopia's Makeup System and saying something like "they no longer look like Miis" and honestly that makes me extremelly furstrated to hear, so I want to have my thoughts on the matter written someplace.
Like why do people are so against it? For years I always wanted them to bring more none symmetrical options besides the one single Mole, but the make up system not only gave me all that I ever wanted, but it gave me a whole of a lot more than I thought Nintendo would ever give us, yet they did. Like even ignoring the ability of being able to make a Mii look as close as possible to there source material character or making Miis a lot unhumans than before, which is something I love, it finally aloud us to create so many types of faces that weren't possible to do with Miis as they were. We can give more than one more or beauty mark, pimples, scars, chipped eyebrows, piercings even, we can make Miis have heteorchromatic eyes, or vertigo skin faces, or give them face pantings or tatoos from varius cultural traditions like Bindis, polinisian face tatoos, Amazonic tribe face painting, Corpse Paints and So much more.
Like, is not like it is replacing the old Mii's faces, it's literally building from the old system that we know and Love. I'm sure that even with the Miitopia's Make-up options existing people still and will create more tradicional Mii faces, either because they want to, or because they are using an older classical Mii or because they don't have the desire or skills to use it. Also, sorry, but saying that it takes no creativity to use the Make-up systems in my experience is completly untrue. Even the most crazy unhuman Miis you have to make a lot of effort and outside of the box thinking. The Number of objects you can place run out fast and trying to make them work with an idea or a type of face you are making are all challagens of various magnitudes.
Sorry, I don't want to give the impression that I thought the video was bad. surprisingly there are some things you said that I been wanting for years that nobody else mentions, like having more Wii Party like minigames and a Board mode, I just had this thoughts holding in.
I'm not against the idea of playing with people online, but I'd like if they kept most of the game single player. I think there was a certain charm back in the day when you'd spend hours entertaining yourself with just you miis with funny things they'd say and do, but an online section with maybe a few of your miis competing in minigames and such would be so cool. Maybe they could connect with miis from other peoples saves and occasionally when you'd visit your mii it brings up that persons mii and they could hang out or do something together like the cafe or walks on the beach from the last game. I think the game will need more things to keep people engaged so I love the movie idea, maybe it could be similar to the miitomo photo thing (although considering thats the main reason why miitomo shut down I don't know if nintendo would make it something you could upload or comment on..) I agree with the miitopia customisation becuz yeah it doesn't really give that same feeling of miis, but I think they definitely need to up their customisation options in regards to body shapes, hair, eyes, etc - also with same sex couples..cmon nintendo its 2024 😂 But yeah great video! I think it highlights a lot of the reasons why people got bored/moved on from tomodachi life. 2025 🙏 new year, new tomodachi life 🙏🙏

Okay I hope that for this month's Nintendo Direct I hope Nintendo and Grezzo are already done finishing the port or sequel for Tomodachi Life to come to switch and not Switch 2 because I don't want to pay that much money for a new console and the game so I hope it comes to Switch and not Switch 2! Also I'm sorry to say this but they should bring the Miitopia Mii Maker in Tomodachi Life because I know I like the original Mii Maker back then on Miitopia and Tomodachi Life but now I just don't because I really like and love the Miitopia Mii Maker because people make so many good Miis with it and adding details to it to make like characters like Mario, Kirby, Luigi, Bowser, Tiff, Tuff, Escargoon, Meta Knight, King Dedede, Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, The Smiling Critters, and the Friday Night Funkin Characters like they make them look really good and I just hope they do bring it to Tomodachi Life because the original Mii Maker I just don't like it now. we don't need AI voices in tomodachi life. i agree with you on everything else in this video except for that. the synthesized voices in tomodachi life are part of the charm and replacing them with AI voices would make a lot of people mad, plus AI voices are in a legal gray area anyway. nintendo would be more likely to hire voice actors to voice the miis than use AI voices

I think in terms of setting, you should be able to select what style of settlement you want, you could select the basic island for a more familiar location, or you could choose the city option or the fantasy village option, and each would have their own unique events and things you can do! “But wouldn’t that lock certain features forever” I hear you ask? Well shut up I was getting to that, as you make more miis you can choose to send them off to live in the other locations, or maybe one of the “problems” is that they want to move! The first person to move to a new location is always random, but after the first person moves you can make any of your other miis move there as well by telling them to, miis are more likely to want to move if they interact with one of your friends miis who live in a location that’s different to theirs or if they feature in a minigame started by your friend that is exclusive to that settlement type
Also the fantasy village one HAS to reference miitopia or at least have a function where if it detects the save data you get to have an adventurers guild that lets you import miis from Miitopia, the first time you do this you also unlock jobs for the rest of the miis and they might show up in your miitopia games with quests
But Nintendo will never do this because they’re COWARDS

loved this video idea! about the whole inclusion thing, I think it would be best like alota modern avatar makers like meta just to scrap the gender choice entirely, and just make voices, outfits and attraction all separately personalised just for the sake of simplicity. Another type of Mii game I absolutely want is at least a sequel to Miitopia and call it "Miitropolis". (Mii + Metropolis)
As for Miis in general, I love Miis because they open all kinds of possibilities for creativity. I'm just not one of those who create Miis based on pop-culture or people's weird desire for memes. I like using Miis for originality.
And speaking of creativity, I really want a Mii game where your Miis can be used to make stories from scratch. And it would involve the voices from Tomodachi Life / Miitomo if not improved.
As for Tomodachi Life, I also want the clothes to be sold in pieces like in Miitomo. But they could be sold in bundles depending on the style or suitability. Also, why not allow a Mii couple have twins, triplets, or quadruplet babies? I also wanna be able to have the ability to take pictures as freely as you could with Miifoto in Miitomo. And last thing for clothing, the Nintendo character costumes like in Miitopia should be received by scanning in an amiibo figure. So much to want for either a sequel or an HD remake for "Tomodachi Life".

Biggest quality of life enhancement would be a proper family system besides just "relation to real you". One of the biggest issues with Tomodachi is that there was unfortunately a LOT of incest going on because you couldn't manually set two Miis unrelated to you as siblings or parent/child without using a save editor, and I think this issue NEEDS to be addressed cause it's just weird and gross this oversight wasn't dealt with (something something Japanese media and incest ig).
Another would be having less regional differences so I don't feel like I get locked out of content. I sort of prefer the EU version over the US release, for instance.
If they do make a sequel to tomodachi life i not only hope they give us a typable pronouns option and allow for queer relationships. Like we just choose a body type, then under the name just add pronouns instead of assuming based on body type chosen😅 we can already cuztomize their voice in the og games, let me customize how i adress my miis😭 i doubt it would interfere with anything since it didnt change anything in the og when i made my gay miis on the 3ds. I hope theyll add mkre loactions and mnigames with them, and more prizes to give miis that reflect the era we live in now. Maybe there can be a library with a craft event were you can fold origami figures you coukd sell to the pawn shop or something, or give to miis for them to give their crush a gift. Maybe a market that comes on certain days of the week where you can buy index items you havent found yet at the park. Maybe a holiday system like animal crossing, where the miis all spend their day at the park or wherever they want to go since theyre usually at home. Maybe a perminent pet option rather than rentals where you can pick their breeds. Maybe add a farm they go to for horse rides, gardening, and a baby animal event thats a photoshoot of miis with baby animals. Maybe an aquarium thats in the ocean like marine centers where theres a giant glass wall that shows fish swimming near the shorelines, an event can be watching a whale come near the glass or something.

Would be kinda sick if you could choose the percentage mii's liked genders. So if you 100% liked girls 0% liked boys and you were a boy that we be a preset "straight". There should be presets for mii's like gay (0% girls 100% boys) bi (50% girls 50% boys) and lesbian (100% girls 0% boys) or you can set it to custom like (75% girls 25% boys). However i think mii's sexualities should be done when you make them not mid-game like "i feel gay" as it could put ideas into kids and confuse them. Btw im not gay we just don't want people getting upset lol
