@@Chuked They weren’t ready. The Ultron incident made the Avengers not trust each other. Civil War broke their friendship even further. It was only when they lost to Thanos that they were ready to avenge again.

I wonder what would have happened if Ultron programmed Vision. I guess that is probably shown in a certain What If episode.
actually, Vision is a body that Ultron would have transfered is conscious in. And in What if, we see what happend if he got the body. He would have kill the Avengers without difficulty, cause the extinction of humanity, one shot Thanos when he would have shown to Earth, take all the infinity Stones and then proceed to kill every organic life form in the universe, to witch he would have succeed. He would then have finally be capable to rest, on a Universe in Peace, if he wouldn't have become aware of the Watcher.

Ultron would have been the best mcu villain if they had removed his comedic personality... it doesn’t fit him for someone who’s revelation is about earth getting destroyed...
They tried to make him match Stark’s personality which is why he was witty
I liked his comedic persona...
