It was an orange powder, but would turn fluorescent green when it came in contact with water. The worms have a high water makeup, and thin, porous skin, so they soaked it up quick. On my last day of my 4 year enlistment, i was tied up and soaked with water. Then the guys dumped sea dye all over me. It took a week of showers to get the yellow stain off my skin.

Sometimes piers considered as a private property, which you need permission to fish off. Also access might be restricted, which will render trespassing. Kayak is the best option also it is mobile.
