So Wait, we are talking about one game in 1991 when Pippen was still coming into his own? Let's add all the games they played against each other. Pippen developed into one of the greatest players that Mullin had ever seen so let's be real!!! Don't get me wrong Mullin had a very strong shooting game, but overall there is no contest of who was better skilled as a player between the 2.
This was the 1992-93 season. Pippen was already a two-time champ and Dream Teamer (just like Mullin). Pip was well past “coming into his own” at this stage.
I think the one game of highlights was for example. Mullin put up some pretty good numbdrs against Chicago. Head to head games 1988-89 Mullin drops 29 (the other game against Chicago Pippen wasn't a starter) 1989-90 Mullin drops 16 and 21 1990-91 Mullin drops 11 and 30 1991-92 Mullin drops 18 and 38 1992-93 Mullin puts up 21 and 32 that's averaging over 27ppg vs Chicago

I disagree. I remember Mullin being an all star 2 years beforr Pippen made the all-star team. So Pippen almost caught up to Mullin. Mullin did not have to catch up to Pippen. I still consider Mullin a better player. Pippen had MJ, Mullin didn't.
