The good thing about the North star is when it's made it as far as those miles it is a good one and it will keep on going . Those devilles are better to buy with higher miles rather than very low.
I love this Northstar! Because it's working for you and you got a good deal on a one owner car, it's ready for the lot someone will snag it up in a heartbeat
I've known of people who had those Northstar engines they were happy with them. They kept it maintained religiously cooling system flushed yearly and everything. It bit the ghost at about 300k miles. Personally I'm scared of those things but like I said I've seen good and bad results out of them.
Hey Randy, One of the best pies you’ve ever made! Are you kidding for $980! Wow what a steal of a deal! That’s a beautiful car! Interior is beautiful!Incredible!
Really nice Caddy! *I think this thing would bring easily somewhere between $2500 until $3000.* Yeah, they are known for head gasket issues, but not everybody is a gear head. Would be an ideal cheap car for grandma or grandpa for sure!
KBB doesn't matter. I'm a dealer so NADA / BlackBook is where to look. Even then, any item is worth what someone will pay for it. We have tons of hits already at $2750.
love these cars i just bought a 1995 deville base with the super reliable 4.9 it has only 88k originlal miles got for 900 super happy with it good luck with the sale
I have a '97 STS (the same Northstar Engine), it now has 239800 miles, I drove the car in every single of the lower 48 states. Just a few years ago I drove it non-stop for 26 hours from Sarasota FL to Toronto ON, it is my daily driver and NEVER had it once overheating. I did nothing but regular maintenance to it and replaced normal wear items (5xAlternator, A/C Compressor, W/P, Belts, Idlers, 6xBatterie, Fuel Pump, Struts, Brakes, 2 x rear air ride compressor, plugs/wires, fluids and the biggest one: the transmission).
The good old Death star engine, I have a good friend who is a mechanic at a Cadillac dealer. He main job used to be replacing the head gaskets on those. Believe me when I say he had job security.
I sure hope you generously compensate your brother Tim for his detailing work. You are very lucky to have a brother like that. Hope you appreciate him. I can't even imagine hanging out and sharing some common interests with my brothers. My brother's never showed any interest in anything that I was interested in. My brothers never even hung out with me except when we were kids.
Those are my favorite cadillacs, 99 was the last year for those distinctive long narrow tail lights unique to cadilliac. Been looking for a good one in my area. Just the color I'm looking for too. Northstars have their issues but they can be minimized with regular maintenance, I still see a lot of them on the road.
My grandfather leased a burgundy/burgundy 1995 Sedan Deville (Northstar) and I thought it was the most luxurious car ever when it was new. I used to watch the VHS tape that came with the car alot lol. I would never buy one now unless it had the 4.9L in it, but this one definitely brings back memories from when I was a little girl.
Can you put the Copart links to the cars in the videos in the description so that we can see the listings and get a better idea of what to bid on? Thanks.
👍👍Love, Love, Love the Caddy Randy!❤️ That pearl-White pink is the best!...out of the 4 I’ve owned, unfortunately never had one in that color tho. $3,000 solid sale! As I’ve said before... Northstar’s are great engines of you take care of them! 2/4 Caddy’s l’ve owner had Northstar’s with over 250k miles on them when I sold them & ran/drove like new! HATS OFF TO TIM! He’s really coming into his own on the channel👍👍
Had a 98 deville. Loved it. Had a 95 deville and a 89 deville. Don’t blow the head gasket on that early North Star. It’s a good car maybe $2000 but that’s tops. I sold mine to my neighbor for $1000.
My mother had a 1993 Cadillac STS Touring with a NorthStar and I swear it was the fastest car I ever drove, my mother used to get it up to 110 in a blink of an eye!
Great cars I have 5 DeVilles. You have to do the maintenance and they're run for a long time. The car you have is the 275 hp Northstar, base DeVille and d'Elegance. The Concours has the 300 hp. Great videos I watch you all the time. Good luck with the Caddy!
I have 95 deville concourse with the 4.6 northstar one owner I brought it in December of 03 the best car I ever owned that car had 75,000 miles on it I still have it with 218,000 on it now need a engine now in 2019 that was a good buy u did if u fined a good one it will run & drive for a long time!
That won't last long. Somebody will look and drive that and love it and have to have it. Cadillac has had it's share of issues but it's still an American staple for luxury.
Usually I'm not a huge fan of a Cadillac but that one is a cream puff! I almost want to fly down from Ohio and buy it for Christmas! And ANOTHER ONE! Great score Randy!
"I know they're known for problems, but they really are good motors". LMAO. Okay. I guess you're right, as mine didn't blow up even once in the 2 or 3 years I owned it. That Deville did clean up nice.
Wow that one is extremely clean for the miles. That Caddy has been well maintained, and I will bet the owner was already or close to senior citizen age when bought new. Hard to find them like this.
I'll bet that reported hail damage is that crack in the windscreen/windshield. That might have been enough to get the owner to trade it in for a new car after 19 years. That's a lovely service history, there can't be too many around as clean as that all round and with such a good CarFax report so I can't imagine it's going to be a hard car to sell, not when the potential buyer sees that report. I should think double bubble should be pretty easy as older Caddies do have a certain following and properly nice ones aren't getting any easier to find...
Like you said, at 180k+ miles it’s probably had the head bolts done, a new engine, or the car is just lucky! I just bought one a few weeks ago with 208k miles that has a new engine! Although I wish mine was pearl white with no carriage top...
I’ve got a 1994 deville 4.9l with one owner before myself. It seemed like a good car but one by one stuff started to stop working. First the doors wouldn’t lock, then the trunk was having problems locking but it started working again, then the heat stopped working. It comes out warm but only on the floor on the passenger side and cold but only comes out of the floor on the driver side when it’s on heat. And now it had a map sensor fail and I replaced it and then it went out again and the replacement has been ordered again. And it only has just under 70,000 miles. It also has no guts in passing gear! I had a 1995 Cadillac eldorado before this one with the northstar that I had bought for only $800. It was a decent car for what it was and it would get up and go in passing gear. I guess that’s the main difference between the 4.6 and 4.9. I doubt I’ll ever get another Cadillac. That being said, hopefully you scored on this one!
You guys should check out Griots cleaner, I use the spray wax and interior cleaner. The spray wax is amazing and the interior cleaner works fantastically on top of it being odorless. It can be found in any auto parts store.
Nice that you know the magic of the Northstar engine. I agree if it runs that good with 185,000 miles on it then you have a win. Clean title in this are of the Northeast these can go as high as $3,500 as low as $500. I hope you get close to $2500
I only got $2500 for my dad's 2004 Deville with only $132K. Original owner, dealer serviced, 2nd engine (thanks NorthStar). This is in California where cars go for more. I could have sold a 2004 Civic with 200k miles for $4k. Cadillacs don't keep their value. And I love Cadillacs. I had a '74, '77, '80, '95, 00', 04'. Wish I had a '58 or '59.
Randy, you need to buy Tim a foam lance to help him with his car valeting. They give great results and save sheds load of time as well. Putting on shampoo by hand is just caveman like! 😉
I was one that told you to buy it good job that car is going to last someone at least another100k if they take care of it like the last owner did you can get $2.500-$3000 easy
i had a gold 98 deville d’elegance i loved that car so much currently i still have the vehicle but sadly i let it sit over the years and now it has some electrical issues but it never over heated ac and heat works never had an issue with the car until now although i think it may just be fhe battery and alternator it starts up pretty fast when it’s being jump started
We all know the Northstar had head gasket issues, no need to keep reminding us in the comments 😂. My Northstar has 193k + miles and only problem was a pulley and a misfire 👌🏾

I love the fact that NO MATTER WHAT, Randy’s gonna drive whatever car he buys home lol
But they didn't drive the z home!!
Gotta test it
The good thing about the North star is when it's made it as far as those miles it is a good one and it will keep on going . Those devilles are better to buy with higher miles rather than very low.
Agreed.
Deathstar Engines are a nightmare coolant problems blown head gaskets no thank you buddy
Mines got 190000 miles it's roll
If I had a lot, I'd be proud to offer that car.
I have a 94 Deville with the 4.9L PFI V8 with only 124,000 miles on and love every minute of it.
pFI was the best
now those are the engine to have. i would never touch a deathstar.
Yes
I love this Northstar! Because it's working for you and you got a good deal on a one owner car, it's ready for the lot someone will snag it up in a heartbeat

I've owned ALL kinds of cars....S600s, 7 Series....A8s but NOTHING rode better than my '99 Sedan De Ville. I'm going to pick another up this summer.
I absolutely love theses cars I went to my local dealership the other day and drove one and fell in love with how smooth and comfortable it was
Had a 1991 4.9 and a 2000 with the Northstar. Both never gave me any trouble.Northstar on the highway used to get 28 MPG .
love these cars i just bought a 1995 deville base with the super reliable 4.9 it has only 88k originlal miles got for 900 super happy with it good luck with the sale
I bought a 2004 Deville dts 6 months ago with 160,000 miles on it and I love mine too I got it for a 1000 dollars from a friend at work.
If I lived in your area I would buy it . Nice caddy for the money
Is it possible the hail damage was the cracked windshield?? That car should get $2,500 to $3,000 bucks!!
That's what I was thinking
Really enjoying your videos lately man, we appreciate your hard work. It shows.

Well maintained car. On craigslist I always look for well maintained yard, house, etc, means they took car of the car too.
Can you put the Copart links to the cars in the videos in the description so that we can see the listings and get a better idea of what to bid on? Thanks.
Nice looking car, had been a well cared and a faithful car. It will be appreciated by a true lover.
TIM deserves a Christmas bonus !!
Love the Caddy Randy! Wish I lived closer....I would buy it.
Bitch... we can deliver to your door.
👍👍Love, Love, Love the Caddy Randy!❤️ That pearl-White pink is the best!...out of the 4 I’ve owned, unfortunately never had one in that color tho. $3,000 solid sale! As I’ve said before... Some one please buy this guy a bucket .................😂 keep on flipping :)
You got lucky on that DeVille! I bought 3 cadillacs, 2 DeVilles and a Seville. Both DeVilles had overheating problems.
That won't last long. Somebody will look and drive that and love it and have to have it. Cadillac has had it's share of issues but it's still an American staple for luxury.
Definitely a good buy cosmetically she looks really clean. Have a good day and stay safe Jimmy from Massachusetts
What a beauty for it's age and mileage! Yet another win!
Usually I'm not a huge fan of a Cadillac but that one is a cream puff! I almost want to fly down from Ohio and buy it for Christmas! And ANOTHER ONE! Great score Randy!
Looks like a fantastic deal for someone. Great deal for you!
I loved driving those cars when I use to work at Enterprise Rent a Car. Good times.
My parents had one. Got a new engine under warranty. Great car !
"I know they're known for problems, but they really are good motors". LMAO. Okay. I guess you're right, as mine didn't blow up even once in the 2 or 3 years I owned it. That Deville did clean up nice.
That deville is amazing I bought one the same year color and same everything looks identical. And I paid $2,200 for mine with 120,000 miles on it.

Hey Randy, I’ve got a fun drinking game idea. Take a shot every time we hear you say “out the door”🤣
Damn that Caddy is fine. You have a bulb out on the passenger side front park light but that is one nice car.
That's awesome, nice purchase!
I'd guess it should sell between $1500-1750.
Greetings from Latvia! 🇱🇻
You’re on a roll with some great cars 👍
That Cadillac looks great Randy. Ya done good!
Like you said, at 180k+ miles it’s probably had the head bolts done, a new engine, or the car is just lucky! I just bought one a few weeks ago with 208k miles that has a new engine! Although I wish mine was pearl white with no carriage top...
I would ask 2500 obo it's definitely well worth it , I believe it will be sold by New Year .
Love from Denmark, keep Up the good work, Uber man
What a lovely car! Done well with that one.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I’ve got a 1994 deville 4.9l with one owner before myself. It seemed like a good car but one by one stuff started to stop working. Very nice Cadillac Deville. A win for sure.
That car is a total win
Great job on your latest deals. Love watching your videos. Would love to do this myself
Great Video.. Well Done Randy...
You guys should check out Griots cleaner, I use the spray wax and interior cleaner. The spray wax is amazing and the interior cleaner works fantastically on top of it being odorless.
It can be found in any auto parts store.
414alexx yep. Look it up on google so you know what it looks like. I use to use Meguiars but switched to Griots and haven’t looked back since.
Randy. I used your link in the description to get a CARFAX it’s worked great.
Great pick up! great cleanup!
Nice that you know the magic of the Northstar engine. I agree if it runs that good with 185,000 miles on it then you have a win. Clean title in this are of the Northeast these can go as high as $3,500 as low as $500. I hope you get close to $2500
I owned a 96’, the Deville is a wonderful car to drive and ride.
Time to get pressure washer for Tim, don’t overwork him, he is your brother!
I have a pressure washer in the garage.
Man that wash mitt on the ground is making my eye twitch...
get that man a bucket for that wash!
He has one.
Oh I didn’t see one and saw the sponge on the ground. Wouldn’t want to hurt that paint :)
I only got $2500 for my dad's 2004 Deville with only $132K. Original owner, dealer serviced, 2nd engine (thanks NorthStar). This is in California where cars go for more. Well this one will sell for a good profit. We have it at $2750 and have tons of interest.
Til randy come home...in a Cadillac brougham.! I love the caddy. Sounds like a winner
Randy, you need to buy Tim a foam lance to help him with his car valeting. They give great results and save sheds load of time as well. Putting on shampoo by hand is just caveman like! 😉
I just love those Cadi..shes a beauty broo..!!;)
Hey, it's interesting to see the turnover in your channel from that Aztek car you got just to try it out
You may have lucked out on that Caddy Randy! it is a pretty clean car!!
$980 good flip man. look like it could be sold for about $3000
Yes! Buy it, wash it, sell it! But what a beautiful good ass driving car! FUN!
Looks nice .
Cool deal !
I was one that told you to buy it good job that car is going to last someone at least another100k if they take care of it like the last owner did you can get $2.500-$3000 easy
Looks like the one my mom had before it caught fire.
Bargain Caddy, one owner, 300bhp, what a great flip. Tim missed a bit, bad Tim lol 😁
This is one beautiful car! I think it is a great flip!
Blown head gaskets are a must
i had a gold 98 deville d’elegance i loved that car so much currently i still have the vehicle but sadly i let it sit over the years and now it has some electrical issues but it never over heated ac and heat works never had an issue with the car until now although i think it may just be fhe battery and alternator it starts up pretty fast when it’s being jump started
I worked at a die cast place that made most of the blocks for these and most of the parts
Great purchase on the Cadillac and the Impala as well. Pretty sure you can get 22 23 for it . Can't wait to see what's next....
We listed it at $2750 and we are busy with interested people already :)
Wow even better news Randy..... it's not gonna last at Wierd Beards lot....
We all know the Northstar had head gasket issues, no need to keep reminding us in the comments 😂. My Northstar has 193k + miles and only problem was a pulley and a misfire 👌🏾
That’s literally my grandma and grandpas old deville looks just like theirs
Lovely car, $2k would reasonable price. Turo rental? Classy date night ride!
Great video but how do you get to drive a car home after you buy it can drive a salvage title home? Wher to het the dealers plate
Beautiful car, nice price too
Randy you have a good team
he does a very basic cleaning. the way to do it is full day from morning to evening with detailing. that is how you make it look like new again.
Maybe for you, I was taught to work smart not hard. It sold for the same price it would have sold for had I spend all day on it.

LOL, DOOR SILLS, YOU JUST PUT HIM UNDER THE BUS FOR GOOD REASONS.. FIRE HIM,
He will see the video.LOL
I still wished that u could have brought that pearl white Cadillac Eldardo from the copart walk-around video though! 😅
Airbags, racing stripes, and a couple of 12" subs would make the value increase to $5000.
You know what would be great bring some of those rust free cars up north
Bro that's a nice car I'm stealing jealous of that catty truck
The car had 188,556 miles? Wow.
Timmy fell asleep before he could wipe the door jamb...
Blue book to sell to private party is between $810-$2,150
KBB is not an accurate source for car prices. Never go by KBB. We have tons of interest at $2750 and we are a dealership.
Ok hope you get rid of it I love your videos can't wait for the next one but not to hurt your feelings you overpaid a little bit for it
+Nicholas Cusack Agree to disagree LOL under $1000 and we should easily sell it for 2500 there’s no way that is overpaying in my opinion
Great car!!!
