It looks like the grass at the beginning of the video is more defined than the grass at the end of the video. Is the grass at the beginning of the video the same texture? If so what did you do to make it more realistic?
Just wanted to let others know because i got stuck on this part too. For the nodes when adjusting the sky at 10:10 make sure your ozone matches for both sky texutres or else the sun won't work and it will look like night time. I don't know if this is just my prblems but thats what was happening to me.
You make it look so easy man, great work. About the quixel library assets, how do you have them inside blender like that ? The quixel bridge plugin doesn't even work correctly now, did you just manually import them and turn them into blender assets manually ? Or with an add-on like true assets maybe ? Or is there something i don't know about. Thanks in advance, man.
Hello Moncef, appreciate it. At the time of the video, quixel bridge was the way to import them, recently i have tried using it, works with 3Ds max well but in the case of blender it does not, i will need to look behind it though as i am sure there will be a fix. In the meantime i am importing as an fbx manually like we used to.
@@AlternaVisionStudio Hey man, thanks for the reply, apparently the python script of the add-on has to be fixed manually, there are some parameters that blender does not recognize, this video shows how you could fix it in detail if you need to and have a bit of time ruclips.net/video/Pxxpj_CqwpM/видео.html But the whole ecosystem is so broken right now, since they want everyone to move to fab, i doubt bridge will stay functional for long, epic said they'll eventually develop some new bridging solution to work between fab and 3D software, but with the current dev shortage and fab pressure, we might be in fbx limbo soon and for a while. But for the moment, it's still sort of awkwardly working.
i have a question i followed your steps but i dont have the geo scatter so i added trees from blender kit, now the file is supper heavy and i didnt even added the grass, any tips on how to make it lighter or a scatter addont that is free?
It mostly lies in the amount of geometry in the trees, blender lit trees usually are not that well optomized, you have to also use instances and optimize the ctual trees, this can be done using particle systems or duplication using alt-D. As for the grass you can grab a bunch of free biomes from 3d shaker and also get yourself the free biome reader addon.
Great tutorial. Sorry, I want to ask, is the botaniq addon and the addon to create grass free and where can I get this addon? because in the description of this video there is no link to the addon.
@@ronimadiun1216 For the trees you can grab the free maxtree pack, for the grass you can use the biome reader that's free on blender market and download 3dshaker free grass biomes : D
how did you unwrapped the texture on the hose so perfectly like that ? Iv been trying to align the texture lines pattern to meet all together around the house working in the uv texture, but it seem like it cant be done. is there a specific way to do that? and how can we know how big or how small the texture patterns should be? is there like a global scale for it ? Thanks for your amazing video.
For the texture size, some websites tell you exactly how big the texture is in real dimensions, i am not sure if blender has the real scale option but in max you can enable real scale on the textures and the Uvw mapping. As gor the alignment in my case i just eyeballed it more or less.
My pleasure 🙏 As for the addons i used geo scatter, you can find it on blender market, as well as some biopacks that can be found on blender market and gumroad as well. The photographer addon is on gumroad.
I used a sun and sky system in this tutorial, repeat it if you missed it, otherwise i would just add a hue saturation node to an hdri and adjust it to get the deep blue sky look.
@saraphiaalex6652 pleasure ! In the meantime feel free to shoot your questions or tells us about the specific case scenario either on instagram or the discord server. Instagram's response are typically faster.

Yes, the vegetation biome pack is free on blendermarket, also a maxtree free pack. In the next video i will be showing you how to make good quality trees for absolutely free.
The video is a great idea, I just think your execution of what you've labeled a "beginner tutorial" is miss leading... to start with Geo-scatter isn't a freely available tool, 2ndly, you haven't enabled the key display, so whatever key you press we can see, and replicate. When you brought the camera out you also didn't show us how to properly do that, I could go on...... this is my point.... The foundational pre-requisites of "beginner" have been totally evaded. I mean... this is more like advanced, it didn't do the job for me who is an actual beginner. I don't even want to look at your channel now because of it.
