“Win” is a great, uplifting song by Brian McKnight. But please note that McKnight was inspired to write the song after learning about CARL M. BRASHEAR. In 1954, he became the first African-American to attend and graduate from the U.S. Navy’s Diving & Salvage School. He accomplished this despite enduring racist hostility and death threats. In 1966 during bomb recovery operations, an accident onboard nearly severed Brashear’s left leg below the knee and it had to be amputated. In 1968 Brashear became the first amputee diver to be re-certified as a U.S. Navy diver, and in 1970 he became the first African-American U.S. Navy Master Diver.
For my brother.Ive watched it so many times.A great inspiration movie.us as a Race shouldn't forget what a grandparents went through. This needs to be shown to are youth. And the teenagers Show them how it's done
I remember when I had this single on cd. A girl really destroyed me inside. I walked in knee deep snow back home crying. Told myself I would never let her hurt me again. I was finally able to let her go when she tried to down play what she did and tried getting back with me. I was finally done and strong enough to be done. It’s been 20 some years later and I still remember that pain. It’s growth, when you can look back and while at the time you thought you wouldn’t make it through the heart ache, you did and you have.
AI.....MY BROTHA!!!!! SUPRISED TO SEE YOU CHECKING IN...ONE LOVE& I LIVED IN TIDEWATER AREA & I KNOW PEOPLE WHO KNOW YOU....LOOKING FOR YOUR AUTOBIOGRAPHY....ONE!!!!
MY MOMS ❤️ AND POPS WHO DIED WHEN I WAS A INFANT…. KNOWING I WAS SOMETHING SPECIAL WOULD SAY SALAAM AKBAR “ DONT COME BACK HERE “ DONT U EVER COME BACK HERE “ 💯 ❤
THOSE " HOLLYWOOD AFFECTS OF EMOTION.... MAKES THIS MUCH BETTER" 💯💯💯
