Just got a brand new Sonoy Ray soundbar, after powering up the white light keeps blinking forever. Try to perform a factory reset, but no matter how long the behind button I press, it just can't turn green.Why the app is different from what I installed on my iPhone? All the official video tutorials and guides not keep up to date with the app interface. 👎🏻
I just sent way too long in the loop of this exact hell. In this video, I noticed they indicated having the reset/connect button already depressed when plugging the bar into power. This seemed to be the trick for me. Plugging in, and then resetting never allowed the device to connect to anything.
Worst setup experience. The Sonos Ray arrived today and I was so excited to use it. Spent the entire afternoon trying to get it to show up on the app but it STILL does not. I’m going to ask for a refund now
I'm a lead technical software engineer of about a decade, quite a technical person and I have a very long time experience in Networks, electronic devices etc This has single handedly been my worst experience in setting up a device in my lifetime. It's been a whole day and I still haven't set it up. I've amended my router's setting to accommodate it and still nothing.
I just bought one and I’m trying to connect in the same room 4 Sonos One SL and this soundbar but I can’t and I always have to merge them manually in the app every time I use my tv. How can I just have all of this in the same room in the app?

@sonos I'm getting so frustrated at trying to set this up! Phone won't discover sonos player and there is no way to many search... I'm about to freak out, if I'm being honest
You forgot the step where your new speaker fails to install an update, refuses to connect to the app, and becomes a useless paperweight.
Ray does not work with my infrared tv-remote-controler.

What if you already have an A/V receiver? Can you integrate Ray to your existing setup?
Sonos has hdmi to optical converter you can use that

Worst experience connecting a soundbar ,without the app it's useless
I’ve heard there terrible connection issues with this. People have been trying to set it up for hours so I think I’m going to swerve this model.

This speaker has been horrible to set up. Took hours and it still doesn’t work well with TV. It’s going back to BestBuy. Very disappointed.

I’ve had Bose, And Apple HomePod which are the 2nd and 3rd most easiest speakers to set up after Sonos. What do you have a problem with?
