I got two 300. Love them. Spend my evening laying in the living room and (re)discovering music with Apple music. BUT I find the navigation on the app to be un-optimal: I often refer to the apple music app to find and discover stuff or add it to my library before going back to the Sonos app. I know I could use the Apple Music app to control them, but Hi-fi content and Spatial audio can be lost from what I understand.
Like everything we do at Sonos, we have put a lot of thought into how we can support products while continuing to progress the Sonos system as a whole. We are open to hearing out your feedback so we can report future updates back to our product team.
I would love if you could set a set volume for when “grouping everywhere” I’m not a big fan of manually adjusting each speaker to a balanced volume level before pressing “done” and if I don’t then each speaker will simply play at the volume they were last used on, giving a heart attack to whoever is in the bedroom while I can barely hear it in the living room. Having it set to something like 40% when grouping everywhere and then turning up or down group volume would be ideal.
Hi, I have recently uploaded a video that includes this. It covers Grouping Sonos zones and also how to quickly 'sync' the volume level. I hope this helps. See: ruclips.net/video/YDjdDLmjApc/видео.htmlsi=1jY_M9TWoYK3tq8h
Sorry for the stupid question but I am new to these things - Do I need to be connected to the same wifi to turn it on ? Or I can be far away and do it through the app ?
It would also be great if we could have Trueplay settings saved. If let’s say i want to move my home theater surrounds to another room for stereo pair or try different positions and configurations for speakers, I don’t like having to run Trueplay in the new place and then again when I switch them back to their original place. I had to run Trueplay like 10 times when finding the correct spot for my era 300s and comparing A/B and in a busy household with kids, it’s not the easiest thing to make sure the house is silent for a few minutes each time. One thing Sonos has that other brands like Sony and Samsung don’t, is the modularity of Sonos speakers, being able to just ungroup your surrounds or sub and place it in another room of the house and then move them back with saved Trueplay profiles would be great imo.
Hi, No not yet. Sonos currenlty has Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and it's own Sonos Voice Control. I have noticed that Google Assistant is not availabe on some newer Sonos products.
The app are not usefull.. Only play all music on online app is good.. Like Spotify apple music.. The problem is you Can't play your computer song to Sonos App,like you have any music from ur computer file totally can't play. Will error this (Song Not Encoded Correctly)
Truly hate that we updated to the new app. ABSOLUTELY USELESS. If I could, I’d return all 16 speakers. You went from hero to zero! Super disappointing!

is it possible to pair the Sonos Ray to a tv that uses bluetooth remote control instead of IR remote control?
Sorry for the stupid question but I am new to these things - Do I need to be connected to the same wifi to turn it on ? Or I can be far away and do it through the app ?
Hi, Yes you must be connected to the same network as your Sonons speakers for the Sonos app to work.
Unfortunately Sonos hasn't moved into this century with an app that can control the speaker remotely which I need! Frustrating

I downloaded the Sonos App on my Windows laptop and can control the speakers that way.
Does Sonos support Siri voice assistant?

What if I want to turn off my alarm when I’m away from home?

No 6 way of controlling Sonos is via IKEA Symfonisk remote.
The Sonos app is real frustrating, mine doesn’t even have a Autoplay button
We're in 2024 and Sonos still hasn't been able to prepare a full-featured mobile app for 80% of the market. This is really disgusting...
I agree, we should be able to control the speaker remotely on another network from the app
Want high rez. Music

Sonos app is really bad. Really bad!
