Good video. I wish the Amp had 2 Sub outputs and a Center Channel output like my existing amp. I guess the Port will be the way to go. Too bad. I’d been hoping to replace my amp and simplify with this.
Im wondering this as well. I have multiple ceiling speakers in multiple rooms, inside and outside so I’m trying to figure this out as well. Do I need the Sonos amp, the port or both?
You connect the Sonos port to your mixer, so it doesn't matter how many inputs you put on your mixer. The mixer has one output that's connected to the Sonos port.
I’m trying to understand what a amp is lol but maybe I can give an example of what I’m thinking I can use it for. I’m planning on purchasing 2 ERA 300 BUT I don’t have a plug noooo where near where I want to place these and I’m too OCD to have wires everywhere. Could I use this to give them power? Help I’m confused lol

@@estusflask982 Era 100 speaker with the USB-C to Line in Adapter gets you an analog line in to your Sonos system, and is much cheaper than the Port. Plus, you get a speaker out of the deal.
@@estusflask982 Yeah that's the tough one, that's why I specifically mentioned Line In. Your only option right now is the Port, and it's expensive as you know.
The port is extremely limiting. You can’t even connect your own phone and listen to your downloaded mixes. No RUclips video either. No Bluetooth connectivity. $500 worth of nothing !!!

Hi, will Sonos port allow me to hook up two turntables via a mixer?

Why does well made technology cost money?!?
Why is the Port $450? It doesn't even have controls on it.
Because it can be - if all you need is Line In, there are cheaper ways to get that now thankfully.

@@RoastBeefSandwich Oh, I'm not talking about that I need a line out of Sonos into my receiver.
