Great looking build. Really want Prism to be good, but there just seem to be so many hoops to jump through to get her anywhere near close… Thanks for the effort!!
Interesting decklist, thank you: 1. Why no merciful retribution? Is Ode better? 2. I understand that refractor is for aggro matchups when you will maybe have 1 card left to do anything, but in other hand if aggro sees that they can setup bigger turns beacouse if they stumble what will you do that hurts? one herald or aura for 5? Thats nothing.. While in theory Iris can deal 16. 3.Why Angel of erudition if you cannot give it go again, so the only thing you get from him is possible resources for aura in arsenal which i theory is great if it will happen, other then that it just gives you more arsenal options, maybe rebirth would be better to recur auras/sentinels/angels of protection? 4. What do you think on adding heart of fyendal here?
Ode to in my opinion is better here than merciful because it gives attack attack action cards go again. Suraya, Archangel of Erudition is a very powerful card, because, if you have 1 card into your soul, you can banish it to activate Suraya‘s effect to draw 2 cards while attacking. Then you can give her go again and play another action card. She really is very powerful and crucial for defensive style (you can block with 3 cards, keep a yellow/blue, attack with her in your turn and draw 2 cards). Heart of Fyendal really is awesome, because of the side effect of Prism’s hero ability that you’ve to shuffle after searching your deck for a figment. Here you probably will see this fable more often, but it has no block and new Prism already has so many non-block auras/figments. I also think about including Herald of Erudition, as this is also a niche card for aggro
If decks adapt, Refractor might not be at it's best. I hadn't gotten to that particular chapter yet, so to speak. On Merciful, I do think it is good and would be in the cards I consider, but I want ode to wrath for extending the ceiling on 5 card hands. As you say, refractor for example could see opponents trying to setup more, ode can punish that. I think on the debate of Erudition vs. Rebirth, if you find matches/metas/play patterns where you can be more rewarded for recurring, then I agree. I found an angel that can basically net you an aura in some number of turns when you max out, to be great. And in a lot of matchs up (aggro), the primary is the ward.
Merciful would certainly be in the 90 cards I'd consider. The match ups I played more of in Lexi and Iyslander, I was one of the weaker yellow auras. But I think you can make space for it for the wider meta.
I took Prism to the Danish nationals and had so many close matches! I went with a hybrid build using both heralds and an aura package. I too believe she is better than people give her credit for, but I do not think the aura plan is the way to go :/ None of her new cards really support that plan, so there must be something to cards like celestial reprimand and angelic wrath. Testing a hard hitting herald build at the moment and let me tell you, Erudition for 11 with a celestial reprimand in hand feels gooooood :D

@@ArsenalPass Thank you for answer, would love to see more high lvl Prism gameplay!
Why the merciful omission? It also synergises with prism/rapture into the popper matchup. Plus arcane good.
