    In my experience, potion of dejavu is better used when we're running less blues (30~31 blues), and it can be helpful either with aggro or control/high ab matchup. Potion of dejavu will have its best impact when we have 2 or more reds/yellows in our pitch that let us draw (tomes), opt (gaze), or extending the damage of combo line (aether flare, blazing aether, lesson in lava).
    Although the sideboard is kind of our personal preference, i rather have more chain lightning on my sideboard than red aether quickening. The reason is, the "go again" buff we'll get from aether quickening is only works if it's played on our turn to gain an extra action point, while chain lightning's instant buff can be used on both turn. Moreover, aether quickening needs to get buffed before it gains "go again" buff while crucible of aetherweave is more often giving buff for another crucial red/yellow cards.

    • @ArsenalPass
      @ArsenalPass  Год назад

      Agree on Deja Vu, I have played builds with 3 pot and a lot less blues. I think its a good strategy, but again I think it takes away from the combo so you have to weigh that up.
      Quickening isn't played for the go again, it's never relevant tbh. It's just a card that works well with moon and can be found off Lesson easily.

    This is a nice informative video on Kano! Could I ask what are your feelings on Blessing of Aether as a one-off potentially in grindy matchups?

    • @ArsenalPass
      @ArsenalPass  Год назад +6

      I think Blessing is potentially a lot better than I have thought so far. My main issue is how face up it is and allows your opponent to take advantage in those grindy match ups of you using your action point on it to keep their full hand and come back in with 5 cards of pressure to disrupt the Blessing turn - or force you to take a big hit to keep it live. I think it might actually be best vs Iyslander, but so far I have been unimpressed with the potential in grindy match ups. I think where it will shine is in combo packages or to help create windows before a wildfire combo turn. I guess in that regard one off could be an interesting thing to test!

    • @campbellwright9133

      @@ArsenalPass I find that Blessing is very strong when you search for it with Lesson in Lava. You often still strip a card from the opponents hand, and then when they take 1 damage you set it to top of deck and play it out for next turn. This then allows you to play a 2 card hand (Spindle for example) with an excessive amount of power. It definitely can create windows ahead of a wildfire turn

    At 7:15 in order to maximise draws and value, I'd Kano first, then decide what to do with the card just Kano'd, and then either play that one or Voltic Bolt first.
    If you play Voltic Bolt first you might end up either wasting potential draws, potential arsenal, or potential sinergies.

    What do you do when the opponent plays an oasis respite on your wildfire? Do you whiff or do you go all in, using all your equipment for only 12 dmg? I feel like today, people know how to counter wildfire combos, as its actually not that hard. Ab2+OA and its basically nullified.

    • @ArsenalPass
      @ArsenalPass  Год назад +3

      First goal is try to avoid that situation. It is generally pretty obvious if an Oasis is coming as not many decks can support it and it usually will be from slower decks. So you have time to find out they are playing it and they will have to hold it for you combo turn, which gives you the info (i.e. holding arsenal for multiple turns). In match ups where they can Oasis you can double Wildfire them, so stack a double wildfire turn. The hardest Oasis match up is Dromai as they sometimes play the card and then also it is harder to see coming, they are aggressive so you don't have time to play around it and they can have Sand Cover too. Oasis is good vs. Kano but its certainly not a silver bullet that every hero can play to good effect.
