- Rainy season in Bangkok walking the streets during heavy rain. The rainy season or monsoon in Bangkok lasts from May till middle October. I walked during the pooring rain from Sukhumvit 11 till Asok Intersection.
In this video I am just walking and not much talking. This shower took about 15 minutes. The rest of the day was dry, this is typical for Bangkok Rain. I like to walk in the rain and just enjoy the rain sounds, it's warm so pleasent to walk.

Hey, that new restaurant on 17 you mentioned is on the grounds of our favourite duck restaurant on Sukhumvit. Last time in Bangkok they had closed down, they have been there for ages. Wonder if there is any connection to the new restaurant, gonna check it out next time in Bangkok. Love your mini updates of Bangkok, they are keeping my memory of BKK fresh and updated 😊

something has changed about bangkok rainy season this year and that is the flooding problem. if you've lived in Bangkok, you'll know that sometimes if it rains, it's not always a bad thing. at least the weather isn't as hot as every day. haha... 😁
