Or Tor Kor Market is clean and easy to go too ( MRT blue line (Kamphaeng Phet station exit 3)). You will see a lot of fresh fruits with high quality ( so prices are not cheap ).

I still remember 30-40 years ago when it rained in Bangkok, the flood stayed at least half a day or more. Since then, BMA (Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, or city govt) constructed gigantic water drain tunnel, making it easier to drain excess water into canals and eventually Chao Phraya river. You would be lucky to see flood water after one hour when the rain stops. BTW, pork leg rice comes with pickled green veggies and pickled orange chilies to balance the oily taste and enhance the favor of the dish.

Hi Mike our surname is also Hoffman 🫶
Coolest time for Bangkok would be November. June and July was very hot this year so I guess next year will be similar, it was 32 on average but with humidity it feels a bit hotter.
