The place is so cool especially all the Amiibo’s on display. I bought a Nintendo New York shirt, Pokémon plush, and Metroid Dread. Me and a friend took a photo with link
Dude that’s crazy I didn’t know newbery comics was so huge I was fortunate enough to go last year and thought it was super cool but didn’t know people knew it like that, haven’t been to NYC Nintendo store in like 4 years but both are absolutely incredible
More physical Nintendo Stores should open in North America and Europe, they just look so fun to explore while buying pricey plushes to pad out your place XD
I went here for my 13th birthday, met this guy on the line named Brandon. He was really chill and he had bought a Zorua plush for himself. We were just talking about our love for Nintendo and I had mentioned it was my birthday, and he said “happy birthday dude,” grabbed a Yoshi plush from off one of the display thingies and gave it to me. I’ve never forgotten that experience and it’s still one of my best birthdays
I should've went there during the Global GO Fest to pick up a shirt I liked, they had a blue shirt with Gyarados & Milotic and I wanted it cuz Milotic is my all time favorite Pokémon.
I remember coming here back in 2017, it was like magic. I personally prefer the way the store used to look when it was called Nintendo World though, had a more 2000’s aesthetic.
I got the biggest grin when I saw R.O.B. among all the handheld and home consoles in the museum display last year, on a trip to New York with my family.
I’ve been there on a summer trip back in 2022. It’s nice, but I was a little surprised how small it was. I remember old videos where there used to be live Nintendo direct streams there, and fans could come and watch; but the current structure doesn’t have that. A friend of mine who lives in NY (Queens) said that they had to downsize, so a lot of the space and features aren’t there anymore.
Man this hits hard for me. I was in NYC back in 2019 and when I found out this existed I *had* to come and see this for myself. Was a good 20 minute walk from the hotel but it was worth it! Got myself a Pikachu cosplaying as the Statue of Liberty and I still have it with me to this day!
I went to that store a couple times. The first time we saw someone take a photo with the golden Mario statue out front. We asked if we could have one, but we couldn’t because turns out the person with the statue was a tech lead a Nintendo! So cool!
I was there in March. They had Breath of the Wild stuff everywhere instead of Tears of the kingdom, which mildly disappointed me. It was still a super fun experience, even though I was only there for 15 minutes. I love the fact that all the clothing has Nintendo NYC printed on it so you can brag to all your friends that you went there. I highly recommend it to anyone who goes to Manhattan.
Nintendo NYC is absolutely worth the visit. I got my Switch N64 controller there, which was sold out online at the time. The merch is insane. Absolutely worth the visit if you can make it.
Yeah I went there a couple weeks ago, literally the place where I spent the most money in my entire trip to NYC But it was really cool, and I was also able to nab the Pyra/Mythra Amiibo despite the fact it was sold out everywhere within the first day where I live.
Just went to this place this summer! I was really happy to see some splatoon merch, I didn’t get anything cuz I spent most of my money elsewhere but it was such a cool place to stop by.
I’ve always wanted to visit Nintendo NYC!!! The store looks so cool and I honestly would walk out with one of every Mario plushie they have there and get a pic with Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Bowser!!🙌❤️💚
Fun fact Nintendo NYC used to be a Pokémon store. And it closed and it was changed to the Nintendo NYC. the only thing Pokémon there is the doors. The doors were kept the same and the handle looks like a pokeball. Now you know🙂
I try tk go there wherever im in NYC (more often than you'd like lol) and the last time I went everything was head to toe in Pikmin. Really refreshing to see one of the lesser loved Nintendo franchises being everywhere for once! Yes, i did buy one of the luxury pikmim sweaters. My wallet is crying
I came here my sophomore year of highschool with my dad. I walked out with a throw blanket that resembled the Gold NES Legend of Zelda cartridge and an 8-Bit Link Pillow. Absolutely one of the coolest things ever and a shame they dont have a “nintendo store” anywhere else other than the theme park 😞
The one time I’ve ever been here was when it was my older brother’s birthday & when Mario kart 8 was brand new. I don’t really remember much from the time I went there other than seeing a lot of animal crossing amiibo’s & that Nintendo land game on the Wii U. Definitely a great time
FUN FACT! Before it was Nintendo NYC, it was a Pokemon center. Nothing from when it was a Pokemon Center is left... Except for the handles on the doors! The Pokeball door handles are still there on the inside of the doors. Very cool
I was only able to visit New York once in my life, and whenever I visited a couple years ago, they definitely didn't have the giant Bowser, but they did have the statue of Gold Mario at the entrance, and they also had flagpole Mario. They might have also had a statue of Luigi somewhere in the store, but I can't remember. This little video tells me that the store probably changes every day or at least frequently. If I could afford it, I would definitely go back to this store, I wish they made one in Arizona though!
I was there years ago (twice) and got a Parakoopa and Orange Yoshi Plushes. (And a Patrat plush on my second trip. And I remember seeing the old GameBoy that survived the war. As I know they removed it fairly recently.
I went there in 2015 and didn't even know there was an upstairs 😭 Oh well, I still got a couple of shirts that are still among my favorites and some souvenirs for friends that they absolutely loved. I'll just have to remember there's another floor if i ever make it back to NYC!
I was there for the first time this summer ! It was my second time in the USA and I really enjoyed it overall. I bought an overpriced Zelda sweater there but I had to it was worth.
They used to have a cool nintendo history glass container with some really cool antiques where botw link was in your video, and im kinda sad its been gone for a while
Well for sure I WAS NEAR it on December 16th 2021, i wanted to visit inside and buy something but LINE WAS MAD FULL, tho I did see that golden Mario statue...was so amazing to at least SEE Nintendo NYC before my very eyes, always wanted to see and go in when I was like 8 years old
I went there with my family last year and since forgotten land had come out not long before there were Kirby statue of fire, cutter, regular, and sword
Been going to this store since I was 10-years-old, which as known as 'Nintendo World' at the time. As a life-long huge gamer, this is one of the most amazing and exciting video game stores I've ever been to in my life. I love this store so much; I keep coming back to it just to play some video games and buy some merch there! ^_^
I travelled to the US for the first time the other week and was able to visit the Nintendo store it was absolutely amazing. I picked up a Mario T shirt and a banana plushie 😂
Dude I wanna go back here so badly. Last time (and only time) I’ve went was back in 2019 for the release of Mario Maker 2. That was so hype on its own, but my god everything else there is just so incredible. If I could go again, I would 100%
This was one of my favorite places to go living in New York I'll still go from time to time but it was definitely always a place I'd want to be for launches and to buy some cool merch
I went to a similar Nintendo in Seattle in 2018 for my birthday, the employees were really nice. and let me see the employee only areas just because it was my birthday. it was a real fun experience
I've been there once. It was fun. Sonic Mania was about to come out, so i forget if there was a major theme going on. I got myself an adorable Brionne plushie.
I did go there actually! It was pre Covid but I’m so glad I still see some of the things are still there like the og link statue and the flag pole Mario!
Haven't been there since the wii u days. I was lucky enough to go there when it was the Pokemon center when I was a kid. They still have the pokeball doors.
This store actually looks sick.
The place is so cool especially all the Amiibo’s on display. I bought a Nintendo New York shirt, Pokémon plush, and Metroid Dread. Me and a friend took a photo with link
I been there
I wanna go, where can I go? Where is it?
As someone who lives here, it is intact sick
@@Davian2073 It’s in the Rockefeller Plaza. You look that up you will find it.
guess who spent $600 on plush last week at this place
Did you do it?
Whoa, what plush was it?
Yeah what plush?
Wat plush
multiple plushes?
This store is genuinely one of the coolest stores I’ve ever been to right behind that one newbery comics in Boston
Used to live in Boston and would go to Newbury often.
There’s a newbury comics at Roosevelt Field mall on Long Island!
Newbury Comics in Boston is like my favorite store on earth. I moved an hour away and still make the stop whenever I head to NH.
Hi @
Dude that’s crazy I didn’t know newbery comics was so huge I was fortunate enough to go last year and thought it was super cool but didn’t know people knew it like that, haven’t been to NYC Nintendo store in like 4 years but both are absolutely incredible
One of my main goals in life is to go here the day a Nintendo Direct happens and be a part of the crowd reacting to it live.
Been visiting Nintendo NYC since I was a kid. One of my favorite places in the whole city.
Same. I stop by every time I go to NYC.
what is NYC?
@@ithinkpigeonsarecool New York City. It's a huge and densely-packed city that is (unsurprisingly) located in the state of New York.
i knew what it was but your a nice person who was kind here have a thumbs up 👍@@surgeco.channel8972
@@surgeco.channel8972New York city is in New York? No way. I don’t believe you

Don’t you love 35$ korok plush :)
YES
Poor Mario trying to make ends meet 🙁
I was actually here a bit ago! It’s not a badly priced store and I got 3 Pokémon sun and moon pins for 15$!
I’m the 170th like
I went here in late July and the TOTK Link statue was still there. This was an awesome experience.
totk link’s still there in september!
I went here for my 13th birthday, met this guy on the line named Brandon. He was really chill and he had bought a Zorua plush for himself. The color coordination of all the Yoshi’s is extremely satisfying
Buying a Yoshi from this place was definitely worth it. I absolutely loved my visit
I actually went to this place a year ago and it was awesome easily a must do for Nintendo fans well visiting NYC.
Been here tons of times, never gets old.
I went here last weekend during Go Fest 2023, I loved itttt
I should've went there during the Global GO Fest to pick up a shirt I liked, they had a blue shirt with Gyarados & Milotic and I wanted it cuz Milotic is my all time favorite Pokémon.
Went here last year. Was a dream come true dude I loved it
I go to NYC every year around Christmas, and I always have stop at the Nintendo store and I always never leave empty handed. 😂
I remember coming here back in 2017, it was like magic. I personally prefer the way the store used to look when it was called Nintendo World though, had a more 2000’s aesthetic.
This place looks absolutely amazing! I love what they made with the amiibos.
I got the biggest grin when I saw R.O.B. among all the handheld and home consoles in the museum display last year, on a trip to New York with my family.
I was there for my recent trip to NYC, and I gotta say, this place is magical. Such a cool place
was just there a few days ago during my trip, it was pretty nice

I honestly love stopping by here every couple years. The stuff there is so cool.
My sister and I came here when the WiiU first came out. Back when everything still made sense.
I’ve been here so many times, it’s practically a hangout for me now
I went to that store a couple times. The first time we saw someone take a photo with the golden Mario statue out front. We asked if we could have one, but we couldn’t because turns out the person with the statue was a tech lead a Nintendo! So cool!

I havent been here since the renovation. Definitly want to head back and see it now
Just went to this place this summer! I was really happy to see some splatoon merch, I didn’t get anything cuz I spent most of my money elsewhere but it was such a cool place to stop by.
I went there 5 years ago in 2018, looks like it hasn’t changed a bit, and I love to see that!
I’ve always wanted to visit Nintendo NYC!!! The store looks so cool and I honestly would walk out with one of every Mario plushie they have there and get a pic with Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Bowser!!🙌❤️💚

I go here a lot because I live nearby, it’s crazy to see a RUclipsr visit one of my favorite places to go in my neighborhood.
I’ve been here a few times and this is making me want to go back and pick up some amiibos 😭😭
This used to be a Pokémon Center! I went in 2009 when they were promoting PMD: Explorers of Sky, it was unironically the best day of my life.
I got to go here for the first time this summer. It was a bucket list item for me, definitely worth it. Hopefully I can go again some day
went there back in April and it was unbelievable, i know its only just a small store but it was a good experience. (i spent too much money there)
I’m going to Nintendo NY in like less than a month and this has just put me on the edge of my seat 😭😭
The first time been to Nintendo NYC was right when a link between worlds came out. I really need to go back!
I've been here! It's nice looking but its really quite small. I know it's NYC but I'd love if they had a gigantic store like Toys R Us.
That was one of the places I was really excited to go when I went to NYC
When I was a kid, this place was exclusively a Pokémon store. It became Nintendo World later on
I can confirm, more Nintendo plushies than you will ever see in your life!

I never realized how cool this store was! Suddenly I want to go to New York more than ever haha

Ive been there around when smash ultimate was still a thing and they had the entire banner outside with all the chracters. So cool.

I went to this store in my trip last year. No regrets and I got me some goodies from there
I was in 2016 in February before the switch was released, it's definitely changed a lot since I last went there
ngl legit all of the plushies are fire
It’s funny seeing it again after I was there only 2-3 months ago
Visited it during my high school choir trip. It was really cool!
who else agrees this man just gives off good vibes

They had to give it back to Nintendo HQ because they wanted it displayed at the Nintendo World in DisneyLand.
I went there twice. Last time was July. And OML ITS HEAVEN! I got a DJ KK shirt and a Mario shirt.
I was here once and got a behind-the-scenes Super Mario Odyssey book, featuring scrapped artwork, character designs, and even costumes for Mario!
Well for sure I WAS NEAR it on December 16th 2021, i wanted to visit inside and buy something but LINE WAS MAD FULL, tho I did see that golden Mario statue...was so amazing to at least SEE Nintendo NYC before my very eyes, always wanted to see and go in when I was like 8 years old

i’m gonna sob, when i went there a few weeks ago there was a huge line outside and i didn’t feel like waiting so i didn’t get to go in
I have been here once to get my switch one week after super mario odyssey came out very nostalgic times
I've visited that store so many times. Hell, I went there and bought stuff when it was still a Pokemon Center. I wish we had pokecenters in America.
RIP Charles Martine as mario we will all miss you
those statues are extremely well done
Every time I’ve traveled to NYC I always visit the Nintendo Store… multiple times as well
I actually been here before I’ve been there before. It’s a very nice spot.
This is where I got my blue shell plushie from. Awesome store
It’s weird seeing someone talk about this like it’s a big deal because it’s basically just another Tuesday for me.
I was here when TOTK released! The line was a block long.
Dude I wanna go back here so badly. Last time (and only time) I’ve went was back in 2019 for the release of Mario Maker 2. That was so hype on its own, but my god everything else there is just so incredible. If I could go again, I would 100%

If there is anything Kirby related that would be awesome
I just got back from a trip to NYC and I went here, it was amazing, a must-go to
