I’m a shift manager at one of the bars now! Been there for 5 years I love working for the company and learning about our beloved flounder. Thanks for the mini documentary 🎣

I'm so glad I found your channel! Loved this story. If you could do a video about the Johnny's Seasoning company and their restaurants that would be great. Thanks for producing these videos, I look forward to the next one.

Thank you very much! I have been wanting to do one on Johnny's, I have a lot of photos and even a script partially written from a few years ago. Maybe I will make it next. I am working on Highway 99 and the Alaskan Yukon Pacific Expo of 1909, both are quite intense with a lot of facts to weed through. I also have a FB page if you haven't been on there. Facebook Western Washington History: facebook.com/profile.php?id=100067205563626 Thank you for being a subscriber!

I was an employee for over 12 years in Ivar’s marketing department and loved revisiting the stories, in lieu of the book Paul Dorpat was supposed to produce before some life-changing events. During an ownership purge of collectibles, I was able to keep a number of interesting items for Ivar Haglund’s past. Again, nicely done piece.

Thank you, All comments are appreciated, but this means a lot coming from you with your background. I tried to focus on Ivar himself as he IS Western Washington History.

It was torn down, this is as close to an address as I can find, 59th SW (on the slope south of Admiral Way)

Well done except for one minor nit to pick. The current owner, Bob Donnegan, is a thoughtful civic activist in very much the way Ivar was. Your unnecessary dig regarding the "corporate" decision to end the fireworks show belittles the work Bob has done to make Seattle a better place. Perhaps it's because Bob, unlike Ivar, shuns self-promotion but if the removal of the viaduct and the development of the Seattle waterfront is of any value then Bob should get credit for his considerable, behind the scenes, role in making it happen.
