Love ❤️ the fabrics. Oh if I were a rich person I would have so much fabric and that would bring me JOY. So many things bring me Joy, red is the color I like the most and green is for the money 💰 I can use to buy fabric from Fabric Cafe. 😃😃😃😃😃😃
I love those renderings! That was a great episode - I learned a lot! Hummmm red and green? An elf? Those ribbony hard candies from the past? A reinvented Santa? Can't wait!
What a fun show. I love the info and guidance. It is so helpful to see how different fabrics look in different patterns. It’s so inspirational. Each quilt set was absolutely gorgeous. Please make more videos in this style.
Y’all did a great job, ladies! This was fun! I do really enjoy seeing the different patterns using the same fabrics! It is the best way yet to help me visualize different fabrics of mine in your patterns! Thank you so much! I guess Mrs. Fabric Cafe is taking a break…or she could be designing fabric or making quilts! Tell Donna howdy! And I love your hair, Hannah!
Hello! I'm just now getting to sit and hand quilt! I just love your joyful positive energy! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead! Thanks for sharing!
Great ideas! Please do more videos that show one kit in different patterns!!! I look forward to Tuesday and Thursday videos!! Thank you for what you do!!!
I like the “pieces and parts” component of the video. It really helps me visualize what I might be able to use from my local shopping center (aka “stash”)! Red and green … hmmmmm … I like Shelda’s guess of watermelon - it’s too early to think of Christmas, even IF my name is Holly. ;)
When I think of red and green fabric, I reminds me of Christmas fabric remnants. I like saving all my red and green remnants of Christmas prints. And eventually going to put all of it into a quilt. Of course color coordinating the reds and the greens, and offsetting it with golds or silvers. Even white patterns either way I, love red and green fabric at Christmas time.
Hello there. I have been loving seeing your videos and the quilts. I asked a question about only using 3 metres of fabric. I now want to know if we can mix cotton fabric with poly cotton fabric. Hoping to use fabric I have already got. Thank you.
Hi Babsie! Although you most certainly can mix the 100% cotton with the poly/cotton blend, it would not be my preference. The two fabric contents will wear and wash very different and could be an issue down the road. This is not something I would do if it were me. - Fran
@@FabricCafe Thank you for your honesty. I will certainly keep this in mind when I make my decisions. Maybe 2 quilts made out of each fabric??? We'll see..
In the 1sr quilt, the #1 fabric has a very definate diagonal design. Check out the penguins. They are all standing up in the same direction, so if you don't watch your fabric lay out, some will be standing on their little heads!
Hi Karen! Unfortunately we only offer the 3 fabrics together, but the Fabric info is - Andover-Glenfern-Lodge-A-9852-B - If you put that into Google you may be able to find it elsewhere. Good luck and happy quilting!
Absolutely! Early on in designing patterns, I made a quilt using two dots and a stripe. You might consider adding one or two solid fat quarters which would provide a resting place for your eyes.
The Pheasant Lodge kit -- I think that the #3 fabric is too busy and too close to the #1 fabric and drowns it out -- the second pattern with the churn dash blocks would be better if you switched the borders for more contrast and less busy
Great job ladies! Enjoying finding these older tutorials😊
Poinsettias are red and green……lovely decorations for the holidays

Hello! I'm just now getting to sit and hand quilt! I just love your joyful positive energy! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Brenda! Thanks for watching and always giving warm wishes. Hope you have a great weekend filled with joy!

Good plan! You can't go wrong with saving fabric!💜
Christmas fabric! This was a very enjoyable video. Loved seeing the fabric kits used with different patterns. Thanks ladies!

Love you guys together. And the trellis fabric into porch rails looks sorta oriental
I love I've the new format of giving the fabric & pattern info!
That's good to hear! First time we tried this format so I'm glad to hear you like it. Always trying to improve our shows for you all. 😊

Watermelon's a perfect treat as we inch towards Summer!
I continue to enjoy watching your videos! Love the renderings plus using different patterns with same fabrics!
Red and green- Christmas perhaps ❤🎄😁
Red and Green must be Christmas fabric! Can't wait to see!! You both are the best!
Love the porch rail pattern
I really love the renderings you show. Thank you
I like the watermelon suggestion for red & green! There are giant reddish 🥬cabbage roses and pale green leaves 🍃 as another go-together combo.
Christmas sugar cookies decorated in red and green icing! Another great video to you both!
Hannah, I’ve been quilting for years and still experience this problem.
Thanks ladies, loved this.
What a great idea! I really enjoyed the video!
Love love that blue with birds do you have any?
Morning Peggy! The one that is in the quilt model? Unfortunately we do not, we just have the Pheasant Lodge version. Have a good week! 💜
Poinsettia or a pretty Australian bottlebrush or waratah!

Oh what a cool idea, Marion! I'm sure that all the pieces and parts would make a beautiful Christmas quilt with lots of memories when finished!

Good point, Ellen! Thanks for the tip!
Christmas kits
Christmas quilts? I have already seen Halloween fabrics at my LQS.
The next season always seams to come sooner and sooner year after year!
Where can I find the Pheasant fabric just to order and not the three fabrics?
Hi Karen! Unfortunately we only offer the 3 fabrics together, but the Fabric info is - Andover-Glenfern-Lodge-A-9852-B - If you put that into Google you may be able to find it elsewhere. Good luck and happy quilting!
I have a fat quarter bundle of polka dots in different colors can I do with that? Can I make a whole quilt out of polka dot fabric?
Absolutely! Early on in designing patterns, I made a quilt using two dots and a stripe. You might consider adding one or two solid fat quarters which would provide a resting place for your eyes.

🥰
I still run into the same dilemma...fabric or pattern...which comes first
