@DaveRRC the rear board just slides forward towards you and the door panels I think was a few screws then you just lift it up gently. If you run into any issues I’ll be glad to help.

Go with the Double Din and order your dashkit from Amazon . For the radio harness I had to run a wire from the fuse box to turn the radio off and on with the key .

My model didn't have the monsoon amp, there is a factory amp bypass kit for that
If just replacing the speakers you should be good

The new speakers will sound good when I replaced mine I noticed the difference.
How can I install a 3.5 speaker or tweeter on the front side ?
You can add some dome tweeters on the pillars or on the doors.
