Certainly brings back great memories !! You must be ready for a comeback Eddie or you wouldn't be watching climbing videos😂

@@robmatheson1 Still dabbling at Lancaster bouldering wall now an then and have taken the kids to Ingleton and Kendal a few times. Be nice to do some routes again.....but not E7, very impressive, still recognise that calculated climbing style👍.

Great video! About 20 years since I did it. Theo's part of the new revolution. He knows where it's at.

Loved it. Would have been nice to hear where the name of route came from, Rob.
Was there earlier this year to do Astra and Capella. Intending to go back for Cruel Sister and Arcturus next season.

A Sister route to Arcturus but "crueler". Nothing to do with my Sister !!!

Been waiting for this one. Didn't realise you did it on my 13th birthday 😁
Nice to see you using the proper knot to tie on!

Thank you Luke, but I'm only a bloke who's been climbing a long time. I appreciate your comment though.

That was beautiful Rob. When I watch you climb, it's always smooth and calm. Always in control of the moment. Was this always your 'style'? Or has it changed as you've 'matured'? 😉

Hi Neil, Kind words but I suppose it is the slow, safe trad style. I consciously try to keep planted and balanced before and during moves with my feet as the main controllers. I try and climb looking down at my feet and once they are planted you usually need less for your hands. As you personally come under pressure by stretching your grade you become less planted and balanced but it remains the ultimate reference point.
