The Mystery House is especially nice. I'd definitely be happy to live there and have the occasional guest reserve the lovely addition. "Escape to the County" is one of my favorite shows.
Nice episode and Nicki was as lovely and gorgeous as always! Thanks for sharing! The lambs were so precious and made me realize once again why I dont eat meat, or drink milk.🙏
I think they might need to slightly change locations if all that's available at their price in the Peaks are 'small' for them. Maybe a barn conversion a bit further out might work or they buy a smaller place and extend.
I will never understand why houses are shown that do NOT meet the requirement of the buyers. They specified they needed a garage for Trevor's classic car. The first house has no garage or space to build one.
IMO, I find it odd this gentleman sells his home, leaves his support system, buys the house to move her in. While woman keeps her home to rents it out. It appears the girlfriend is covering her bases. If their relationship goes south, she looses zippo! I hope I'm wrong. He seems like a nice man.
i was thinking despite being "together" for 6 years its online mostly and they've only lived together for 2 months that is NOT enough time to decide to buy a house together. so i hope its in his name so when or if this doesn't work out that he has a place to live and isn't financially devastated.
@@supposedly1-2 Agreed! Not enough time [2 mos] to decide to sell your home, leave family, and friends [support system], no commitment [marriage] either. He has way more invested!
It is a clever approach actually.. as they would benefit from the rental of her house without losing an opportunity to peacefully split up, if by any chance living together won't work for them. I believe the new house must be in his name, of course.
I liked the mystery house but i prefer the 1st one. I love houses that are below budget, newly updated and won't need any work done to it. I would rarher go with the 1st house and not sell my previous home than sell and buy two properties in one.
30:19 If you want large rooms you need to have a larger budget😊 and she keeps complaining about the houses being small then she needs to quit being selfish, and sell her house and cough up some money😊😊😊😊
as an American i have to purposely think they mean out buildings when they say outhouses and not outside toilets which is what an outhouse is in the US lol my first thought is , don't they have indoor plumbing? haha! there are many things like that and i just find it funny and maybe interesting. like how you say ground talking about the floors inside your home and floor when you're talking about the ground outside! quite odd to me but there's nothing wrong with it of course. :)

Great job Niki - Wonderful episode !
Love the lambs.
The first one had been modernized beyond recognition. I liked the other 2 the best.
I will go for modernised and turn-key anytime
So...they want a cottage in the Peak District with big rooms and large windows? That's not how cottages work!
I think this is the first time I've not really been attracted to any of the properties. Nicki lovely as ever.
I will never understand why houses are shown that do NOT meet the requirement of the buyers. They specified they needed a garage for Trevor's classic car. The first house has no garage or space to build one.
And they asked for at least three bedrooms and got offered two. Nikki tried to cover the shortcomings talking about compromises and potential...
I like house #1 and the location of house #2
The mystery house is interesting. Still no garage
Me too, I liked house 1
With house #3….whose going to clean 2 connected houses?
👍👍👍 Real full episode including end credits. Every episode of Escape To The Country should be of this audio, visual and editing quality.
I would NOT like a home with the road running past the front.
AND no beams, or view of cemetery😮

I don’t see an issue as long as they don’t marry. If they split they walk away with each of their respective homes intact.
I envy Nicki´s patience!
The garage was really the only thing he wanted, but ETTC didn’t give it any importance.

and when they say "garden" it means "yard" or "lawn" to us.😊
The first 2 houses were not upto the mark. However the 3rd one was a consolation.
The homes were less than great.
iI get the feeling you guys don't really listen to what people want.
Didn't like any house
Not at all beautiful. Sorry to say that
