Although i am not a big fan of semi detached houses, i loved the 1st house, it's architectural design and amazing backyard were it's selling points. The rooms were amazing too. The downstairs kitchen and dining i will redo to maximise the space and light filled room. I couldn't see myself in the other homes unfortunately.

But for the semi detached aspect, house 1 was gorgeous.
Me too. The only downside was it was semi detached but compared to the others it was the best option

I love house #2 though I'm not sure I'd ever get to the upper floors to clean too often. I'd have to have a vacuum for each floor.
The mystery house - the neighbors are too close. Other than that, it's beautiful!
Great episode, wonderful properties, especially #1! #2 is very dangerous with small children, pure horror to imagine them falling from the 2nd floor landing + it needs updating on the outside! The mystery barn had so much character, wow!

Exactly. House one was the best alternative for a small growing family plus the location too, easier commute for him.
They could have probably gotten exactly what they wanted for a lot less.

I wish they'd taken their shoes off per the sign on the front porch of House #1. Some hosts are definitely better than others at this.
House 1 was great. The second house looked like it needed a new roof.

These homes are lovely, however they don't seem any nicer than homes priced at 500pounds in other counties. Seems like a huge waste of money just to be closer to London. Beautiful though.
