everyone sees a video of a record and then is like omg this sounds so much better, gush gush gush. Would much rather listen to the WAVs that were on sale a few years back.
@@devintoner1160 to me personally it's more than the sound quality. You can digitally duplicate a photo of an abandoned dilapidated duplex. Or you could go there and take the photo for yourself on film, not knowing if your photos are properly exposed or in focus etc. The same goes for records. It's definitely more than just the sound quality. You have to handle the records properly, delicately, keep dust off of them. You can actually see a physical wave form on the plastic as the needle moves. It's a hassle to get up and change the track so you wind up listening the the entire record. It is not ear buds while working or driving. It's a sit down with coffee or bud or mushrooms kind of experience. It's a ritual that almost MAKES you listen up and tune in instead of being used to tune out other things. I prefer buttons and knobs over touch screens. I prefer film over digital and I prefer records over wavs however the majority of the photos I take and majority of music I listen to is digital. Point is, it's not about the quality to everyone although I think I speak for most collectors, it still blows my mind that a needle in a plastic groove can sound THAT GOOD!

One of my favorite Analord tracks. I discovered this EP series a little too late, and now I wish I had them all in vinyl

Had them all, and two Analord 10 picture discs. Sold them on eBay and have regretted it since.

no, i think the fact is that many analord uploads are from early vinyl rips wich were not good.
