Do you actually have a 6R80? is this a metal or plastic pan? just reread and i see its a ford
Gary Ferraro Gary Ferraro Gary Ferraro Gary Ferraro Interesting Gary I wonder if it is as something as simple as solenoid. But wouldn’t surprise me if it is rear stator bushing causing issues. Yes I believe in Australia we call it ZF 6HP26 which from what I heard same box as mustang use but with smaller input shaft ? Also I have lifeguard6 oil and never been replaced from factory as ford says lifetime oil do you agree ? Box’s has done 200,000kms.
The reason why i ask is on the 6r80 transmissions havent really seen to many solenoid issues yet(i've rebuilt maybe about 7 of these) but the bushings do wear out on these like the ZF units as well
what bushing driver set is that? im working on a zf6hp19.
I bought this set 30 years ago, not sure who made it, I have a small set that i got from harbor freight, but for the A drum you would need large drivers, maybe try googling it, the ones ive seen maybe alittle pricey, if you like i can see what my supplier has
yeah thanks. see what your supplier says let me know, and thanks again.
I going to give you my suppliers e-mail and phone, he says he has a master bushing driver set(may be pricey) He is very busy, when your ready, i would e-mail himfirst and just say Gary from AAA-1 Trans gave you the e-mail and i will give him a heads-up you will be contacting him
ok thanks.

what a junk transmission seriously I rebuild transmissions its such a shame that an expensive transmission like this needs this kind of work at such low mileage.
So sorry Zf6hp26, 2011
