Waterproof & Dustproof
The cameras, GPS, and switch all carry an IP66/67, meaning that they can resist high-pressure, heavy sprays of water. They are also fully sealed against dust entry. The main unit carries an IP55 rating, meaning that it is protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets.
MEMORY Included
A 32GB microSD card is included so that you can be ready to catch all of the action right out of the box. The system supports up to a 256GB microSD card (sold separately).
SUPER Capacitor
If power is lost, this prevents the recorded video file from being corrupted, as it provides enough power to allow the video file to close properly.
WIRELESS Link
Enables video playback, file transfer, and easy setup via the KENWOOD Motorsports CAM smartphone app (*Device Requirement OS: Android 7.0 or later, OS: iOS 11.0 or later). Once files are transferred to device, you can easily share recorded videos.

Can these connect to the DMX957XR head unit as a monitor... in combination with two CMOS-740HD front and rear parking cameras? Or would they run separate?
No the STZ-RF200WD is a stand-alone system DVR system and does not have video in/out. Thanks!
This camera is now discontinued right? But I see it for sale everywhere. Do you know if the Android app will get updated enough to work with at least the next couple Android versions?

Do I need a smartphone for that system to record or is this just for the first setup?
A smartphone is needed for initial setup and camera alignment, but the STZ-RF200WD will record footage without the use of a Smartphone and you can view that footage on a PC when you remove the SD Card and insert it into a computer. Using a smartphone to access the footage is an added convenience but not the only method to access files. Thanks!
How work the gps?
the GPS receives a signal from the Antenna, To view the information it gathers you must remove the SD Card and use the Desktop software to see the collected data, the GPS information is NOT available from the Phone app. You can download the Free PC software to view the files here: www.kenwood.com/car/app/kenwood_motorsports_cam_viewer/eng/ Thanks!
