Breastfeeding women in the middle east, where I am from use lanolin regularly. It's an age old remedy for chapped skin. Your recipe looks so rich. I'll def think about purchasing some.

This sounds so luxurious! I am envious of those that can use lanolin. I can't even touch wool or sheep without reacting.
When I played sports, I used lanolin on the area that chafed. It was the only thing that soothed it. I love those jars!!

This looks great! Guess I'll have to place another order, lol. I haven't used lanolin since my last round of breastfeeding 12 years ago. It's great stuff but I don't like the smell of the commercially available products. I'm positive this will be much better! I look forward to trying it. I missed you this past week. I had been so worried about you Patrick as it was so unusual not to have seen you I'm pleased it was only a technical issue and not a health issue. I was born around sheep, had many pet lambs so Lanolin is a product I love so much.
Shearing the sheep and handling the wool as my father did his whole life as a Wool classer he always had soft hands. Local Tallow, Lanolin and local honey 🍯 what could be better.

Can you use beef tallow .. I don't' know where to get the sheep tallow. I did run it through a balm calculator on Wholesale supply plus.

Hi there, it helps to add and retain moisture that can with the appearance of scars, as for pain relief, if the pain is due to dryness and tightness yes it can help to relieve that.
